With time running against me here’s a short article on the Sun Euro Dream Team for the Round of 16. We look at the fixtures and remind ourselves of the transfer rules. Plus there’s todays transfers and the team with a little bit of chat on approach

The transfer rules
During Phase Four of the Game and before the scheduled kick-off of the Final of the Tournament on 10 July you may make eleven transfers to your team or each of your teams, ie after 00:00:00 on Saturday 25 June and before the scheduled kick-off of the Tournament Final match on Sunday 10 July.
Transfers will take effect from the first Eligible Game starting after you have made the transfer.
The team
Luckily I only have 1 eliminated player in Janko of Austria. Unfortunately given his low value that took 2 players out to replace him. In the end I transferred out Pogba for Perisic to put Bale in but even £3.5m for Perisic with nothing in the bank is a tricky number.
For the moment I will probably only replace players who don’t start or who are eliminated until I get a feel for how quickly the transfers are being used. However 11 transfers for 16 games (I’m already down to 9) is far from ideal
