With a few changes coming to the FFGeek team I thought I would do an article featuring 5 players to draft in and the changes to the FFGeek team proposed for this weekend.
telegraph fantasy football – 5 players to draft in and FFGeek team changes
We highlight a premium striker and midfielder plus a cheap striker and midfielder. We then highlight a defender. Here’s how the stats work:
Value £xm. Points: xx Points per game: x.x Goals/Key Contribution x/x . consistency x returns of a goal or assist in x games. x/x x%
Defenders will also show the clean sheets which will be included in their consistency %
5 players to bring in
AGUERO FWD
Value £7.0m. Points: 21 PPG: 7.0 G/KC: 3/0. consistency 2/3 66%
No question the the Man City striker is the best in the premier league and this week returns from suspension. Even in the no captainTFF format he’s a dangerous player not to own. Great game next away to Swansea.

West Brom (A)

COUTINHO MID
Value £5.3m. Points: 24 PPG: 4.8 G/KC: 2/2. consistency 2/5 40%
To be honest I think you could justify either of the Liverpool attacking trio of Coutinho, Mane or Firmino. I would probably just give the edge to Coutinho due to the wider definition of key contribution given his chance creation and set piece representation. Is rotated so check the lineup before putting him in

DEFOE FWD
Value £5.2m. Points: 20 PPG: 4.0 G/KC: 2/0. consistency 2/5 40%
There’s some good fixtures coming up for Sunderland forward and the veteran fox in the box will be there to capitalise.

West Ham (A)

ANTONIO MID
Value £4.3m. Points: 34 PPG: 6.8 G/KC: 5/0. consistency 4/5 80%
The West Ham attacking midfielder is great value mid with an ability to get into the box that has seen him score 5 goals already this season. Good fixtures coming up too

Crystal Palace (A)

Everton (A)

CLYNE DEF
Value £4.0m. Points: 10 PPG: 2.5 G/KC/CS: 0/1/0. consistency 1/5 20%
With Liverpool having no clean sheets this may seem a strange choice but they are about to embark on a good run of fixtures and now if any is the time to roll the dice. Clyne at right back also has the attacking ability to also benefit.

THE FFGEEK TEAM
Here’s the team at present. Slipped back somewhat last week to 9k overall.
Here’s the changes I’m proposing:
Ibrahimovic out – Aguero in
Hazard out – Mane in
Ramirez out – Antonio in
That leaves 0 in the bank which is why I’ve gone for Mane instead of Coutinho as he’s slightly cheaper and enables Antonio to get into the team.
Due to the helpful rule allowing you to change players between matches I’ll be able to take Ibrahimovic’s points against Leicester and then transfer in Aguero. It will also allow me to do the same with Ramirez and Antonio. I’ll check the lineups for Liverpool also before drafting in Mane as rotation is always possible in a Klopp team which relies on high energy pressing.
This is how the team will look:
Thats it good luck this weekend
