So here’s the team with a bit of comment underneath:

tff...final

So starting at the back Stekelenburg for the hopefully Koeman invigorated defence is  an easy place to start.

Manchester City and Manchester United were the first defensive teams on my team sheet.  Stones and Valencia were the cheapest options available in that defence and my pick to save funds for elsewhere

In order to balance things out and not over invest in my defence I’ve gone for Dawson of WBA.  Tony Pulis is the defensive maestro of the premier league and WBA were good home and away last season.  He can also score goals which is a nice bonus.

In midfield Sanchez and Eriksen were my core choices.  Eriksen I had no issues with but Sanchez was a debate with Hazard.  Sanchez had the better season last year and it’s a bonus that he isn’t taking up a striker position in TFF.  Hazard has the better fixtures but Sanchez has less risk for me.

Up front Aguero and Ibrahimovic went straight in with Gray the best of my cheap striker picks in order to give some balance to the forward line.

Then I had 2 places left for 2 cheap midfielders.  Fischer went straight in with his good record for Ajax and good fixtures.  After that it was a choice between Puncheon and Deulofeu for the last spot.  Both have good fixtures (at least Everton do after Spurs). Deulofeu has the better upside potential but I was worried when Bolasie joins what his gametime would be.  Puncheon doesn’t have as much upside but ironically with Bolasie leaving that could give him a more advanced position.  I would have preferred Townsend but didn’t have the funds.

Good luck to everybody.
