telegraph fantasy football tips – a review of the season so far
Firstly lets look at the FFGeek team so far this season:
My overall rank is ok at 8,339 and 506 points. I believe there’s around 250,000 teams participating
I’ve got 26 transfers left. I’ve been budgeting 3 transfers per month plus FA Cup games which means including November I should have 28 transfers left. I’m not too far from that. It will be hard to go through November without Chelsea players though. This year the FA Cup will be crucial so don’t burn your transfers. The ability to transfer players in after the first game of the gameday (subject to some limitations) means that you can make transfers of players you want long term after checking they are in the lineup against teams in the lower divisions. Don’t under estimate the points boost this could give you.
Out of my team Aguero, Lukaku, Mane, Sanchez and Walcott have all performed well. Allen has only just come in. Holebas and Stekelenburg have had their moments although last week wasn’t one of them. Capoue has tailed off and Stones and Mustafi have been disappointing.
The FFGeek league is thriving with 26 teams in the top 1,000 and the league leader Gez Batchelor in 10th place overall
SOME STATS
There are some great stats on the site so I’m going to reproduce some of them to give some views on players
