Thanks for the feedback on the fantasy football geek site!

Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback on the fantasy football geek site.   It was really helpful.  Here’s a summary of the main themes and what I’ve done to date in response:

Firstly, I’m pleased (and relieved!) to say it was mainly positive, so thanks very much for that.  I did get some suggestions on how to improve the fantasy football geek site and people’s enjoyment of it.  So, as I said, here was some of the main themes and what I’ve done in response:

1.  I had some feedback about the site and how difficult it is to read on a mobile phone.  I’ve installed a plug in for mobile phones and checked out the results on the I phone.  It does seem a huge improvement and I hope everyone agrees.

2.  I had some feedback asking for more analysis on players.  I’ve tried to start this with the Hazard and Michu article plus the Cazorla one today.  The Hazard and Michu article had a particularly good response.  I do think that they  make me more susceptible to falling flat on my face or U turns in the future but this is something I will try and never shirk on the site.

3.  I had some feedback for more analysis of teams defences.  This is something I intend to do when there’s more data.  4 weeks in is a little short

4.  There was some feedback on my grammar and spelling which was a fair call.  I’ve tried to put more effort in to improving this.  Also the lack of a spreadsheet for columns which is another fair call which I will try to put right

5.  There were a few people who were a little tired of getting e mails from me every day.  I have subsequently sent an e mail to everyone asking if they want to be taken off the email list.  Pleasingly there were very few.

6.  A few people wanted an injury link.  I have put a new category tab on the site called “injury news” which contains a link to physio room which is where I get my injury news from.  Its not a sidebar on the site and it does mean it takes you away from the site when you click on it so you may have to return to the site or open a new tab in advance.  I have to be brutally honest I couldn’t work out how to get it as a live sidebar on the site.  I will review this

Thanks again to everyone for taking the time to feedback to me positives and improvements that could be made.  I will definitely be making it a regular feature as I hope to improve the site over time.
