What’s on the Pod?

Alex and Rob discuss their seasons so far and how their GW5’s went and specifically Rob’s GW5 wildcard .   We then discuss our potential transfers, lineup issues and captain choices for GW6

We then answer questions from the FFGeek Slack Channel

The Questions

Is Duffy locked in now? Is it worth trading down from the 4.5s (especially Veltman) to gain value?

Last year it seemed that home games didn’t make a difference to results. Now that crowds are back, should that affect player selections?

What should we do with Toney? Trade down to gain money itb? Swap out for Allan Saint Maximin or Maupay? Hold and hope that he gets more penalties?

Which players do you consider to have gained/lost appeal due to price changes? For example, do you consider Alonso to look too expensive at the moment, given the expected rotation, and does chilwell look similarly more attractive due to his price drop?

If not using wildcard in gw 7/8, is there another good week to use it?

Where do you guys stand on Chelsea defenders now? Surely alonso can’t play forever??

Your 3 must have players

City seem to be determined to share out the goals. Are any of their Mid/Fwd players good value. (frustrated Torres owner)

Not a question in particular but I would really appreciate a discussion on pros and cons of 2 premiums vs 3 premiums, especially for those planning to hit the WC between now and GW 7.

Do you think it is worth steering well clear of Kane until he hits form, or will he be a good differential whilst everyone goes for Ronaldo and Lukaku?

With Liverpool defence looking good and much more settled then Chelsea do you think Van Dijk and TAA are better option then Chelsea defence double up.

Also are you giving up on Shaw?

Is Kovacic worth a look as a third Chelsea asset for their good fixture run?

If you were wildcarding NOW, which three players would you include that you don’t already own ?

Assuming you had a plan to switch Ronaldo to Lukaku in GW7-8, will you stick to it even if Ronaldo scores again in GW6?
