What’s on the Pod?

Chris  discusses his season so far and how his GW7 went.  Chris talks through his wildcard so far including lineup issues and captain choices for GW8.  I also talk through my GW8 plans.

We then answer questions from the FFGeek Slack Channel

The Questions

If Trent is still in doubt, for those who transferred out, is it worth a Man City and Chelsea double up for a few weeks instead of returning to TAA and a cheapie immediately to fit within same budget ?

Who are you must-haves for the next few weeks?

What to do about Jota and Trent?

With Lukaku yellow flaged is anyone considering Kane for one week punt? Also Pinnock or White for a bench playing defender and the last one if time. How many playing subs will you have or you plan to have for upcoming gameweeks?

Jimenez or Hwang ?

Toney or Mbeumo ?

Cancelo or Dias ?

Could you seriously consider a double Brentford defense over two Chelsea or City defs?

Which City attackers are more likely to return? Foden vs Jesus?

With Ronaldo having tough fixtures and lukaku possibly injured is it worth it, to bring in Werner to cover Chelsea fixtures  and is there merit in targeting “Son” for his fixture against Newcastle

Is Son worth fitting in even if it means cutting some corners off the rest of the team, like an non-playing FWD and less investment in DEF?

Is a Brentford double up, Toney and Mbeumo, worthwhile? If not, who do you prefer going forward?

Q – IF Lukaku was ruled out this weekend in the pressers, what should Lukaku owners do ? Keep him and bench him ? Or use two transfers getting in Vardy , Werner etc with a view to move him back in ?

Same question for wildcarders ? Still buy Lukaku and bench ? Or buy someone else and if so, who ?
