What’s on the Pod?
We discuss our teams performance in GW2 and discuss our potential transfers, lineup issues and captain choices for GW3
We then answer questions from the FFGeek Slack Channel
We also give our view on the most transferred in players in each position so far in the gameweek
The Questions
What are your thoughts on Jota?
Would you rather play Ayling against Burnley or Livramento against Newcastle this week?
Veltman replacements – Duffy? Marcel? Someone else? I already have Ayling & needs to be under 4.5m. (Veltman being out has been a major ball ache eh)
For those without Benrahma, a playing 3rd def and Son, what should be the priority?
Chase bandwagon and get Behrahma.
Fix defence to at least field 3 defenders.
Attack fixture for captaincy and get Son.
Or should we spend 2 transfers and fix any combination of the above?
What are the options you are considering for replacing Bachmann .. ?
What are your thoughts on the emerging Watford cheaper attackers for Toney to free up cash to upgrade elsewhere?
Name three players who look great but haven’t got any returns yet
Trying to find a way to fit lukaku in and its very difficult without having to sell Salah and Bruno…. could the Robbo and Taa double up cover Salah or is it impossible?
Has Nuno really sorted the Spurs defence out? If so, they currently have 4.5mil playing defenders and 2 great fixtures next so who would you pick?
If you don’t have Son, do you prefer Fernandes or Antonio for captain?
If going without Benrahma, does captaining Antonio and owning Coufal provide a decent hedging of the risk ?
2 – when making moves this week, Is it worth holding back funds to allow Ings to Calvert Lewin GW4 with their contrast in fixture runs ? Are you making this move and if so have you got the funds ?
Now that Kane has confirmed hes staying, is he the best Captain this weekend? Isn’t this what we were all saving two transfers for when talking during preseason?
If defense includes Tsimikis, Veltman and White is a transfer almost required? And who for who?
Does the signing of defender Lyanco to Southampton today, reduce or end Livramento’s likely gametime at the club?
