Good fixtures good defence despite what you’re told.  Good value in relation to other defensive options.

De Gea £5.5m fixtures value BUY

SAF seems to have totally lost faith in Lindegaard so his place seems reasonably secure.  That’s more than you can say for anyone in the Man U defence except maybe Evra.  However  no defence is worth the £7.1m that he costs, let alone the Man U defence which has not been at its best.  However I’m banking on Vidic and fixtures to produce more clean sheets

Reina £5.8m DGW fixtures value BUY

Reasonable value for a good defence and allows additional rotation for GW27

Budget (chose those that rotate home and away as home games get more clean sheets if you’re going for 2 budget keepers)

DEFENCE

Sagna £5.1m fixtures  value BUY

The Arsenal defence is underrated despite what pundits may say and Sagna also brings good attacking potential at a really reasonable price.  Seems to have weathered  the awful performance against Chelsea.    Reasonable fixtures  as well.

Zabaleta £6.1m value  BUY

With Maicon  now back he may suffer a little rotaton after not being rested for a while.  City  definitely are the best defence in the league and apart from the certainty of Kompany at £7.1m this is the best option.  Has experienced a strong upturn in attacking returns this year as well. Nastastic and Clichy at £5.6m also look an option at a slightly cheaper price but you need to accept more rotation with these.

Cameron £4.9m value fixtures BUY

Despite the issues Stoke are having defensively a this price he still looks good value.  Stoke have great fixtures in which to recover their defensive mettle from as well.   Personally I’ve cashed in and are waiting for Wilson to recover from injury and then have coverage at £4.0m

 A Cole £6.5m BUY

At the moment the best representation of the Chelsea defence which still looks strong at home but not particularistic away.  Azpilicueta looks better value but is subject to rotation

Rafael £6.0m fixtures attack BUY

4th in the overall and last 6 shooting stats.  Whenever I don’t have him in my team I get burned.  11th in the fixture ease but fixtures don’t bother him.  Will score no matter what the opposition.

Silva £9.4m Quality BUY

Haven’t got that great fixtures but he is an option if for some reason you don’t want Aguero or Dzeko upfront.  9th in the overall and 8th in the last 6 shooting stats and also creates chances.

Puncheon £5.0m budget BUY

Still the best cheap midfielder even with Southampton having poor fixtures.  6th in the last 6 shooting stats and 5th overall

Schneiderlin – £4.5m  Saints

 McCarthy – £4.8m

Maloney – £4.8m

FORWARDS

RVP – £14.1m – QUALITY  fixtures BUY

Hasn’t returned in the last 2 and also not shown up in the current game week shooting stats in the last 3 but the quality is still there and I expect the returns to come back.  still an essential in my mind.

Ba – £8.2m  form  HOLD

Even though its likely it will be Torres turn to play home to Wigan I would probably keep Ba for one more week due to this fixture unless you want to fit Suarez in.  Then sell before the City away game.  Just too much rotation.

Suarez – £10.8m DGW 26 Quality BUY

Only the Arsenal game where he played on the left has made me nervous about the Suarez and Sturridge role.  Otherwise there’s been enough swapping of positions and central positioning to keep me happy.  He is also the leader in overall and last 6 shooting stats and chances created so its not affecting that.  Has scored twice in the last 4 games since Sturridge has arrived.

Tevez £8.8m SELL /Dzeko £7.4m BUY

Too much rotation in my mind for Tevez.  Dzeko is protected by price and his ability to score as a sub.

Giroud £8.0m value fixtures BUY

4th in the overall and 3rd in the last 6 shooting stats plus appearing 3 times in the current top 10 shooting stats.  3 goals and an assist in his last 4.  The only questions are do you have 2 Arsenal attacking assets as Walcott also looks essential or can you drop walcott for Giroud.  I prefer to have only 1 attacking asset from a team unless the fixtures are very compelling.  Arsenals aren’t quite at that level and for that reason I would personally will hold off but he is a BUY if you can live with these cavaeats

Fletcher £7.2m SELL

 The fantastic fixtures have finished and Graham may  dilute his chances 

Aguero £10.9m Quality BUY

Total and utter quality.  6th in the overall shooting stats and 6th in the last 6.  Fixtures could be better but he will be the striker of choice and with no European games and with Utd to chase it seems likely he will play virtually all games.

Sturridge £7.7m DGW26 value

Not shown enough shooting stats for me long term but definitely an option for the DGW
