Gary Cahill has been a permanent fixture in the Chelsea and England line-up, but has recently fallen from grace and is either on the bench or he is not called up. At £20 million he is one of the cheapest defenders on the market with a Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup winner’s medals. He also has spades of experience and will be a welcome addition to any top club in England.
Kurt Zouma
Kurt Zouma was one of the best young defenders in the world two years ago, but then he suffered a horrific knee injury which effectively sidelined him for a year. When he came back from injury he was sent on loan to Stoke from Chelsea and there he started showing what he is capable of. At £17 million he is our best cheap defensive option here.
