Introduction

Here’s a few very early drafts to give you some ideas for your FPL teams. They will change prior to the GW1 deadline of August 5 although there will be updated versions before then.

Yaniv Salomon

Yaniv’s last 5 seasons overall ranks were 37k, 96k, 3k, 4k and 8k

Wake me up in August 5th. Love 💘 this Aquarium draft below!
Big at the back with Ederson to replace Cancelo
5-3-2 or 5-4-1 will be the go to formations.

Also, let me put things straight about Perisic where there has been alot of misleading info :
20/21 Serie A – 20 starts in 17 he played more than 60 minutes!!
21/22 Serie A (last season more important)- 35/38 starts!!! 2 on the bench, 1 injured. In 32/35 played over 60 minutes (1 of the 3 was 59 in GW38)
8 goals and 7 assists

Scott Taylor

Scott’s last 5 seasons ORs were 55k, 12k, 15k, 1k and 12k

This is my first draft below. £0.5m in the bank. The bench is £4.5m placeholders at the moment. Things will be come clearer over pre-season

My biggest call is going Alisson and Cancelo instead of Ederson and Alexander Arnold.

I prefer Alisson’s saves and bonus potential/record and I’m of the view that the gap between Cancelo and Alexander Arnold isn’t that huge. Cancelo has a better underlying goal threat with Alexander Arnold a higher underlying assist threat. Overall I think Alexander Arnold is marginally better due to set pieces. Geek rated Alexander Arnold the 4th best attacking defender and Cancelo the 6th in his attacking defender article

Also think City’s first 10 fixtures are better

Here’s the draft at the moment.

Alex Ball

Alex’s last 8 seasons overall ranks were 27k, 3k, 312k, 523k, 17k, 10k, 28k and 3k
