Introduction
It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends. However the FFGeek team and the Contributor tracker team mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make transfers as articles are posted. So you’re always up to date and live

It depends on what happens with Mo Salah but it sounds like he is going to be fine for 38. If that is the case, I will likely leave him in. If he is not fine, then he becomes Son and I would probably also change Pukki to Toney for a hit.
My other options are changing De Bruyne to Son and keep the Toney hit move.
Or something more boring. I swap Cedric to Sessengon.
Captain: Kane if I don’t get Son. Son if I do.
Vice: Salah or Kane.
Good luck!
Transfer summary: to be confirmed

Well, things really fell into place for the Free Hitters, didn’t they? Arsenal doing nothing, no Man City clean sheet and team-wide Liverpool rotation meant almost none of the popular single week players that were hanging around in non-Free Hit teams did any damage. As someone not on a Free Hit a green arrow was always unlikely, but those one-match players were the only chance of minimising the depth of the red and it just didn’t happen. I’ve only slipped 3k so far but I’m writing this on Wednesday, so there’s plenty of matches to come and I expect to slide much further. I’m a Villa clean sheet away from being back outside the top 50k and that’s just one of many potential blows I could be dealt. Still, at least that’ll be the end of the chip gauntlet and we’re now entering the final week where the playing field will feel more level.
Targets
My target was top 30k. That’s very unlikely now. I should realistically be hoping to scrape into the top 45k for another top 0.5% finish – which I’d be ecstatic with, all things considered. Though even that feels a big ask with what could happen to my rank come Thursday. I imagine I’ll be setting another new, lower target come Friday morning as I won’t be taking any huge risks on the final day.
Transfer
The team actually looks solid for GW38. I have plenty of players that still have something to play for and mostly favourable fixtures. My big risks are De Bruyne and Salah, but I have no way of getting either of those without hits, so I may as well forget about them. Salah’s minutes are unpredictable anyway so, at the very least, he shouldn’t be a popular captain pick even if confirmed fit to play.
My choices for a FT are to swap Coutinho for a player with a better fixture and higher ceiling or replace Schar with a cheapish defender to strengthen my bench in case of rotation. The second might be sensible, as my bench is appalling, but with only one week left I can’t be investing in likely ineffective, budget players. I imagine I’ll drop Coutinho for either Mount or Bowen and hope they see out the season in style.
The transfer won’t be happening until Sunday, as I’ll be waiting for any early team news.
Captain
It has to be a Spurs player, really, so it’s between Kane and Son. Kane has pens, of course, but Son gets the extra point per goal and has a chance of claiming the Golden Boot, so it’ll likely be him.
Transfer summary: Possibly Mount or Bowen for Coutinho
