Quarter Final Review
Quarter Final Points: 60, Total points: 345, Overall Rank: 1k
Here’s the points:
60 points (-8) which took me significantly down to 1,026 rank
The week actually went ok in terms of returners. Insigne and Lukaku (cap) returning day 1. Kane, Sterling, Stones, Schick, Maehle returning day 2 with blanks for the Spanish lads and Spinazzola only.
The drop in rank is due to the 8 point hit (although all 5 players I brought in returned) vs a lot of wildcarders with extra players to bring in for any Spanish blankers they had, sticking with Lukaku captain when most will have had Kane second day I imagine and only having the single English defender where-as those with Shaw/Maguire got a big haul.
Semi Final preview
Schick and Lukaku are now eliminated so with the free transfers I can remove these and my remaining eliminated players and have a full bench (minus second goalkeeper and Spinazzola who is injured).
Plan is Lukaku>Immobile, Schick>Dolberg, Forsberg >F Torres, Kimmich>Mount and Dumfries>Chielleni.
This isn’t set in stone as only 1 England defender makes me nervous and I may prioritise getting Shaw in over Dolberg.
