Not using a Chip. The transfers are
Mount to De Bruyne
Lukaku to Yarmechuk
Wanted some Germany and a -4 to do Alaba to Kimmich is tempting but don’t want to hit really.
Rob Cosgrove
An ok 63 points. Strange how this captain situation changed, I punted on Yarmelenko because Insigne blanked and he got 10 points! Mbappe would have had to score twice just to match this so I didn’t want to take that risk and left it on the Ukrainian.
I had planned to save my wildcard until after the knock out stages but my original team is just no good for match day 3 so I have activated it now.
I have targeted Germany, Belgium, Holland and Spain as I feel they have the best fixtures. I sacrificed Ronaldo to get De Bruyne just for this week but will be getting Ronaldo back for the knock outs.
Captain strategy: the plan is to start with Bonnuci (assuming he is in the lineup when the teams are announced before the MD3 deadline) despite the graphic with De Bruyne next in Day 2 if needed. Later on I will probably switch to Gosens who looks an excellent player if needed.
