Matchday 31 Review – 90 points; Gameweek Rank 5,540

Important Note: THIS IS THE LAST WEEK THAT THE FIXTURES ARE NOT ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Be aware of that. Next week you will want to downgrade your bench and put that money into your starters. Oh.. also… Dortmund play RBL that week to. So that sucks for all of us but more importantly, make sure you have Bayern captains as they play Frieburg. Leverkusen play Hertha, who have been pretty great since the restart so Havertz isn’t as ‘must own’ as he was the first two weeks. So, I am going to make sure I have Lewandowski by then.

In fact, I am going to just get him now. My transfers this week will likely be:

Beier 🔄 Lewandoski

Kimmich 🔄 Schmitz

Zirkzee 🔄 Sarenren Bazee

The only thing I would be looking for are the Wolfsburg/MBach lineups. I guess if Benes started I would consider that but I am not sure there any other cheapies. I would love a great 1M D instead of Schmitz.

Unfortunately, it seems Jakobs will miss out again and Zirkzee pulled a muscle. With the fact that Lewandowski is going for a scoring record, he won’t play again now anyway.

Here’s the lineup pre any transfers

Matchday 30 Review – 88 points; Gameweek Rank 6,590

Here’s Rob’s points from GW31 and review

An odd week lots of rotation and a number of suspensions to big name players led to much lower overall scores. 88 points overall is my first score under 100 but was still good enough for a GW Rank in the 6-thousands so all in all not too bad. It could have been better though, I failed to get the correct star player in each position and blew a few points at the end of gameweek on a final roll of the dice on the returning Havertz, which ultimately cost me a score in the 90s.

Only 3 Matchdays left now in what has been an enjoyable game. Again it’s a quick turnaround with another midweek round and a key game on Tuesday night where Bayern Munich will surely wrap up the title against Werder Bremen.

Matchday 32 Team

My last 3 Matchday write-ups will be much shorter, with my mind heavily occupied with matters FPL, but with matters turning to this a couple of words of Bundesliga caution. The mass rotation this week makes me very wary of the FPL run-in and I’m now keener than ever to get my remaining chips used. The trend of away wins are still also continuing to a point so again I’m wary of this moving forward in both formats!

So for this week, it’s all about bringing Lewandowski back and then trying to jiggle the funds elsewhere. I’ve ditched Brandt from Borussia after a couple of quiet weeks , bringing in Goretzka from Bayern with the remaining funds spent on Sallai from Freiburg.

Only 2 gamedays each with 2 timeslots, but I’ll be sticking to the evening slots with each for my Star picks. So for Tuesday it will be Lewandowski, Goretzka and Trimmel and for Wednesday my fall back options are Hakimi, Havertz and either Werner or Haaland.

Good luck this week folks!
