Fantasy Football Geek in 20/21 – a few words

Fantasy Premier League

Hi just a few words about the fantasy football geek in 20/21 and the FFGeek Patreon site in 20/21.

Fantasy Football Geek in 20/21 – a few words

Well the 20/21 fantasy premier league season at least is underway.  I’ve already done a first draft team as well as 8 of the FFGeek Contributors in part 1 and part 2.

We’ll be following preseason looking at the friendlies played as well as giving updates on the FFGeek Contributors teams up until the season starts on the 12 September

Once the season starts there will be the usual articles in place including 10 top Managers, fixture ease, and the Contributor articles plus my weekly team articles. However the Bandwagons and Sinking Ships articles and the Imaginary Wildcard articles will move over to the FFGeek Patreon site.

Advertising on the site

The Covid Pandemic and the resulting drop in advertising revenue hasn’t been helpful for the site.  The site is my primary source of income and it won’t surprise you to hear that Google isn’t worth $632 billion because they go round handing out money willy nilly to the likes of me.

I’ve therefore had to increase the amount of advertising on the site to perhaps levels I’d ideally prefer not to in order to try regain some of the revenue lost.  I’ve already had some “feedback” on this but unfortunately it’s inevitable consequence of the current situation.  It’s not helped by increased notification criteria to visitors that various government bodies have required.

Get the articles advert free

So if you find the adverts too annoying I’m going to put them all on the FFGeek Patreon site for the price of $2 plus Vat per month with only a 1 calender month commitment.  Hopefully you will also see it as a way of supporting the site.  For $3 plus Vat per month you can get additional content as well.

A New Assistant Manager function on Patreon

I’m going to trial a new function on Patreon where I’ll share a watts app group with 10 people which will involve weekly RMTs, discussion on players and Chat.  This will be more expensive but it will be quite time consuming.  It will be $10 plus Vat.
