Introduction
It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends.
However the FFGeek team, the Transfer Planner Team and the Contributor Tracker team Plus the Contributor teams of Rob, Rick, Andrew, Kris, Kev and Joe mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make notified transfers live as they are completed. So you’re always up to date and live for a maximum £3 PCM.
The reference to 19 top managers is from the article where I follow 19 top FPL managers who have finished in the top 10k overall rank the last 3 seasons.

A bad week in the end for me last week, notwithstanding the fact that I probably my strongest team on paper since the beginning of the year (combinations of players and fixtures). The Haaland haul did not help but mainly as I did not own any of the likes of Diaby and Mbeumo and as two of my defenders blanked. My team was actually two points better off last week because of Darwin (and is better off by 29 points since I dropped Haaland) than the team I would have had with Haaland.

My team is unfortunately not as strong on paper this GW (absolute and relative), mainly because I am a non-Haaland owner, so I just have to hope that Salah outscores Haaland and that Chelsea give up at least two goals away to Spurs!
Playing Bowen away to Brentford instead of Saka away to Newcastle (both played c.90 midweek). Moved early on Tsimikas for Udogie, as the price changes would have cost me 0.2 and I have Gabriel ready to come in if needed (seems he was just rested last weekend).
transfer summary: Udogie OUT Tsimikas IN
Here’s the team with the above transfer complete

Rob Reid
Rob’s last 8 seasons overall ranks were 29k, 66k, 12k, 148k, 94k, 22k, 4k and 7k

GW10 review
Super frustrating week then! A small green arrow is fine on paper, but a big case of ‘what if’ as if I’d not played my Wildcard as I’d pre-planned I’d have been sitting on hails from Diaby and Mbeumo plus 4 points better off from Son. To be fair, I’m probably too hard on myself – if I’d not played my Wildcard, I’d have sold Son and Fernandes to work Salah in and probably even gone a -4 to get in Watkins who also blanked so things would have probably evened off. Still good to vent though!
Let’s be positive then. On the face of things, it was ok – 7/11 returns. All 3 defenders got a return; three out of 4 mids returned and Haaland did Haaland things in the Manchester derby. Areola, Mitoma, Alvarez and Watkins were the blank players. My team also looks in good nick moving forwards. I may be around £1m behind on team value, but I feel my squad has a decent balance and I’ve got an ok bench too (which I actually needed this week with Gabriel rested – thankfully I picked up a lucky Charlie Taylor goal at 1st sub.) Onto GW11 then!

Dave F
Dave F last 3 overall ranks are 26k, 20k and 12k
GW10 points: 74 on WC (19 Top managers average 72) Total points: 607 Overall Rank: 1,549k, green arrow: 341k Team Value: £101.0m
Dave has activated his wildcard for GW10
Wildcard in GW10 went mostly ok despite Gabriel surprise benching and the unfortunate situation with Luis Diaz, hoping all ok there in the end for Diaz but little updates out there at the moment. That being said, Taylor’s surprise six points certainly helped and gave us a path to a green arrow last week of course along with captaining Haaland over salah.
So this week minimal funds in the bank (0.2) and only one ft.
