Introduction
It’s worth noting that the teams shown may not necessarily end up being the final teams or the transfers may have been made in the days prior to the posting . It’s an informal situation to give you an idea of trends.
However the FFGeek team, the Transfer Planner Team and the Contributor Tracker team Plus the Contributor teams of Rob, Rick, Andrew, Kris, Kev and Joe mentioned above on the FFGeek Patreon site all make notified transfers live as they are completed. So you’re always up to date and live for a maximum £3 PCM.
The reference to 19 top managers is from the article where I follow 19 top FPL managers who have finished in the top 10k overall rank the last 3 seasons.
David N
David’s last 7 seasons are 65k, 17k, 10k, 598th, 267th, 470k and 809th
GW11 points: 31 (19 Top managers average 29) Total points: 654 Overall Rank: 855k, green arrow: 18k Team Value: £103.9m
David used his Wildcard in GW8
One of the strangest GWs I can remember, with only a handful of players returning and incredibly low scores overhaul. I felt pretty good on Sunday morning, with Haaland blanking and being subbed at halftime and having both Salah and Darwin, who together gave me an incremental EO of c.166% and thus a potential for a massive rank gain (as well as having both Son and Maddison on Monday), which came close with 4 missed big chances between them, including one even I would have scored! But as always, I see the bright side in having shipped out Udogie for Tsimikas, as the latter’s 1 point cameo was still 5 points better than the former! So 31 points in a week where some engaged managers had low double digit totals feels like a win!
My no Haaland team is now 39 points ahead since my WC (cf. below), with just over half those incremental points coming from weeks where I captained Salah instead. GW13 is potentially the other test until I plan to get Haaland back in GW16, but as ever any week could result in a massive rank swing either way until I bring him back in my team.

I was tempted to bring in Saliba for Cash, for which I have the exact funds, as there are so few exciting options in defence and as Cash was flagged with fixtures turning shortly. But the flag was since removed and I have both Alvarez and Tsimikas on my bench to cover for Cash and Maddison if needed, and thus currently prefer to have 2FTs for the international break. As I have 5 FTs to get Haaland back and will need cheaper options, I will continue to monitor the likes of Mbeumo, Gordon and Palmer, whose fixtures all improve between GW14-16.
Transfer summary: to be determined

GW11 Review
File me under yet another engaged manager who had one of their worst every weeks in FPL last week. And I got off a little lighter than some. 2 returns only and a bunch of 0 and 1 pointers plus a paltry 2 points from Captain Haaland. Thank you to Mitoma and Guehi who saved this week from complete oblivion. One of my big GW10 Wildcard decisions had been to gamble on having 2 City attackers versus Bournemouth at home. For both to blank in a 6-1 win is simply unfathomable – right idea, wrong outcome. Well done if you owned Doku.
Sometimes you just can’t make these things up and at least I didn’t end up in negative points for Monday as a fair few managers did. The one crumb of comfort is that a couple of the injury worries I had seem to have dissipated. Haaland looked pretty fit as he bagged a brace against Young Boys on Tuesday night and it looks like Cash was training on Wednesday as Villa prepare for their Europa League game on Thursday. Hopefully just Maddison to worry about then as we enter the last GW before the final International Break of the year.

Much like everyone else it was generally a struggle last gwk, but managed to scratch together at least an average score of 30. This week looking fairly dull from an activity perspective as barring any unforeseen injuries my expectation is to…..
