Stephen finished last season at around 1k overall rank

TFF – weekly points 39 , overall rank 24,718

39 is a low scoring week but my rank went up slightly. This team still remains quite a bit behind my others despite the teams being similar. Main reason is in other teams I switched Mane to Hazard rather than Kane.

I did a transfer of Mkhitarian for Alonso as he seems to have lost his place and Alonso has been on fire. Naturally he blanks against Cardiff at home but I’m happy to have him in the team.

A clean sheet for Van Aanholt was positive following Tomkins return from injury. Coady remains to look a good enabler with his second clean sheet. Mendy not starting was a big blow especially as City went on to get the clean sheet. Will have to monitor his and Aguero’s situation. Kane blanks again and Jota blanks again.

I will likely transfer out Jota for Maddison due to Leicesters good fixtures and Maddison’s form/stats. Jota away to Manchester United seems the best time. This could change if Mendy or Aguero’s injury is serious, in which case plans may change.

Stephen finished last season with a rank of 52k OR

weekly points 61 (-4), overall rank 391,648

I didn’t think I had too bad of a week, but I dropped in rank very slightly. Doherty repaid the faith after posting some great attacking stats. King’s 11 pointer was very welcome as he was on the chopping block for Mitrovic this week. Was also nice to get Firmino’s points when Mane blanked.

Problem was most budget forwards returned (Zaha, Ings, Murray etc) so King didn’t boost me too much. I also took a -4 to get Alonso in for Van Aanholt which was costly this week. Only getting 2 points from Ward instead of 9 points from Wan Bissaka for Mendy’s autosub also meant I lost out too.

Currently my plan is to transfer Maddison in for Pedro or Walcott. Wildcard will probably wait at least a week or two unless Aguero’s injury proves serious.

Another pretty poor week here, dropping 40k places although I did swap Mkhitarian for David Silva who had been posting great stats and worked out in this game. So it could have been worse. My initial plan was to swap Aubameyang for Kane around now but with Kane’s form this seems unlikely yet. Tempted by Hazard for him but not this week. Also will likely take out Van Dijk after this week due to his tough run of fixtures. Tripper will be the likely replacement as Spurs have nicer fixtures and have Champions league games too
