We’ve also added good fixture clumps at the end for you to be aware of before transfers in and out.

An introduction

My intention at the moment is to take the fixture difficulty ranking from the Official FPL site with some slight adjustments. That schedule doesn’t differentiate between attack and defence and is an overall ranking. You will see their fixture difficulty when you look at a player in detail on the FPL site.

The schedule below uses the official rankings to rank them from easiest at the top to hardest at the bottom. The order of the teams is for GW17-22. The figure in the right hand column is the ranking from from GW17-19

Player suggestions

Player So here I give attacking and defensive player suggestions for players with good 6 week and 3 week fixtures. This week it’s Huddersfield, West Ham, Arsenal and Fulham

Huddersfield

No attacking player here for me.  Just £4.3m CB Schindler in defence

Newcastle (H)
Southampton (H)
Man Utd (A)
Fulham (A)
Burnley (H)
Cardiff (A)

West Ham

3 attacking players here for me in Hernandez and Anderson

£6.3m Fwd Chicharito has scored 4 goals and 2 assists in 5 starts plus 7 as sub at a PP90 of 6.8.  With Arnautovic injured and Pellegrini playing 4-4-2 in the last 3 matches he should be fairly safe in the lineup.

£7.2m Mid Felipe Anderson has scored 6 goals and 2 assists in 16 starts at a PP90 of 5.3.  5 goals and 1 assist have come in the last 6 matches.

£5.3m Mid Snodgrass has scored 1 goals and 3 assists in 9 starts plus 6 as sub at a PP90 of 3.7.  He’s started 7 of the last 8 games.  The goal and 3 assists have come in the last 3 games.

Defensively I’d go with £4.4m CB Balbuena or GK Fabianksi at £4.6m

Arsenal

There’s alot of rotation in the Arsenal team and it’s uncertain which if any, or both, will start but I would go for 1 of the 2 strikers and hope for the best

£11.4m Fwd Aubameyang has scored 10 goals and 4 assists in 14 starts plus 2 as sub at a PP90 of 7.3.  He also has penalty duties.

£9.6m Fwd Lacazette has scored 6 goals and 5 assists in 10 starts plus 5 as sub at a PP90 of 6.4.

Defensively I’d go with £5.5m Bellerin as he looks the safest starter

Southampton (A)
Burnley (H)
Brighton (A)
Liverpool (A)
Fulham (H)
West Ham (A)

Fulham

I’d probably just go with Mitrovic at the moment for the attacking options

£6.7m Fwd Mitrovic  has scored 7 goals and 3 assists in 16 starts at a PP90 of 4.7.  He also has penalty duties.

West Ham (H)
Newcastle (A)
Wolves (H)
Huddersfield (H)
Arsenal (A)
Burnley (A)

Some good short term future fixture clumps

Man Utd

GW18 Cardiff (A)
GW19 Huddersfield (H)
GW20 Bournemouth (H)
GW21 Newcastle (A)

Think about Martial and Shaw as a defender if both are fit.

Watford

Newcastle (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Burnley (H)

Think about Pereyra and Deeney with Holebas the defender.
