FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE BEST FIXTURES GW30 – FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

Here’s the schedule where we rank the teams with the easiest fixtures for the 7 gameweeks and 3 gameweeks ahead from an attacking perspective.

I’ve included the double gameweek 34 and assumed that the Southampton v Arsenal game would be played in GW35 or GW36

Arsenal and Southampton are in green as they will have 2 DGWs.  The teams with 1 DGW in GW34 are in orange.  WBA who have a blank GW34 are in red. Man Utd will also have an additional DGW (probably GW37) but I’ve concentrated on them as a DGW34 target.

Just to repeat:

GREEN 2 DGWs in the 7 games most likely.  1 in GW35/36 and the other DGW37 is the thought process.

ORANGE 1 DGW in GW34 confirmed

RED blank GW34

Man Utd will also have an additional DGW (probably GW37) but I’ve concentrated on them as a DGW34 target.

Only DGW34 is guaranteed at the moment.  The rest is joining dots.  See my recent DGW article

OVERALL THOUGHTS

The above says to me hold on to your Spurs players.  Middlesboro if you can work out who to buy are good in the short term.  As are Arsenal and Southampton in prep for the likely DGW35/DGW36

ATTACKING PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

In this fantasy premier league best fixtures GW30 article were going to concentrate on Middlesboro, Arsenal and Southampton as possible acquisition targets

MIDDLESBOROUGH

Middlesboro haven’t set the world alight from an attacking point of view.  The situation is complicated by the interim manager Steve Agnew only being 1 game in after the sacking of Karanka.  For the moment I’m just looking at attacking midfielder £5.2m Ramirez (2.8 Points per Match) as the only attacking target.  You could gamble on £6.1m forward Negredo (3.6 PPM) but Gestede is in his shadow and even if not starting ahead of him could take minutes off Negredo.  Unfortunately with Swansea next if you’re going to gamble the time is now

ARSENAL

The thought process seems to be with Arsenal having Monday games in GW32 and GW33 that the postponed Southampton v Arsenal will be in GW35/36.  The other in DGW37.

With the £11.6m Sanchez (7.3 PPM) playing for Chile over the international break it seems the supposedly serious ankle injury wasn’t so serious after all.  He will be a difficult player not to own over this period.

If you want to gamble you could go for £7.3m midfielder Walcott (4.7 PPM).  I’m a big fan but the problem is minutes.  His last 5 have been 45, 69, 68, 17, 64.  The most recent is first and the 2 most recent minutes were with Ozil injured.  The problem is that he has Iwobi, the Ox and even Welbeck as competition.  The situation worsens if Ozil is fit and Sanchez plays LAM in an attacking 3.  That only leaves 1 position up for grabs. If he is first choice being out of the Champions League and Arsenal struggling for the top 4 helps that’s for sure.  However, minutes on the pitch when starting still look an issue.

Man City next should help establish Walcott’s position

Man City (H)
West Ham (H)
Crystal Palace (A)

Leicester (H)
Spurs (A)
Man Utd (H)

Add in Southampton (A) most likely GW35/36

SOUTHAMPTON

Unfortunately this also isn’t straightforward.  The manager Puel is a natural rotator.  In the striker department Gabbiadini is out with a groin injury with no return date.  Austin could return for GW32 to muddy the waters although he maybe introduced slowly.  Rodriguez also has had some time as striker.  Long also has the potential to take minutes late in the game.  Not a great situation.

There are 3 attacking midfield options though in £7.0m CAM Tadic (3.6 PPM), £5.8m LAM Redmond (3.4 PPM) and £5.0m RAM Ward Prowse.  All have started the last 3 but all have Rodriguez, Boufal and Davis to take late minutes off them or rotate in front of.  Ward Prowse and Tadic have a share of set piece duties.  Tadic possibly has pens.

However now is the time to roll the dice with Bournemouth next.
