As I said above there’s a table where I’ve ranked the players but there’s a load of stats to help you make your own decision.  There’s also a key below the table to explain the stats and then some narrative on the player plus the next 6 fixtures.

 Aguero

12 goals in his first 11 games ( 2 of them as a sub) shows how fantastic he’s been this year.  The best shooting stats of any player.  Also has pens.  Pretty good fixtures to come as well

Swansea (H)
Southampton (A)
Sunderland (A)
Everton (H)
Leicester (A)
Crystal Palace (H)

Costa

After 2 weeks rest should be in a much better physical state than previous rounds.  Shooting and creating chances stats have dropped off a bit but they are still very good.  Good fixtures to come.

West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Spurs (H)
Newcastle (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (A)

Sakho

An injury doubt to be assesed before tomorrows game.  Had his first blank after scoring in 5 consecutive premier league games.  Great shooting stats show it’s no fluke.  Can it continue/  Has the player from the French 2nd division got the ability to continue scoring in the premier league.  Thats the only doubt.  The fixtures are very good though

Everton (A)
Newcastle (H)
West Brom (A)
Swansea (H)
Sunderland (A)
Leicester (H)

Austin

4 goals and an assist in his last 4 games.  Suddenly he’s shown the ability to score in the premier league.  Good shooting stats also give you comfort.  Good fixtures to come

Newcastle (A)
Leicester (H)
Swansea (A)
Burnley (H)
Everton (A)
West Brom (H)

Pelle

The last game is coming up before the fixtures all go horribly wrong.  Been sensational all season although been unlucky not to score in his last 3 games.  Probably the best all round underlying shooting and creating chances stats of any FPL forward.

Aston Villa (A)
Man City (H)
Arsenal (A)
Man Utd (H)
Burnley (A)
Everton (H)

Berahino

The fixtures are mixed at best and Berahino has little in the way of underlying shooting and creating chances stats to back up his returns so far.  He does have pens though which have considerable helped his total.  No returns in his last 2.

Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
West Ham (H)
Hull (A)
Aston Villa (H)
QPR (A)
Man City (H)

Bony

Been a pretty strange season for the Ivorian who finished last year so strongly.  Everything from a -2 points when being sent off to scoring 4 goals in 3 games.  Good underlying shooting and creating chances stats

Man City (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
QPR (H)
West Ham (A)
Spurs (H)
Hull (A)

RVP

A completely ridiculous price, a totally static position as a forward and only 3 returning games in 10 makes it hard to figure out why he’s in this table.  Well it’s a mixture of past glories, improving underlying stats to the point that they are pretty respectable and 2 great fixtures after the Arsenal game.  He also has pens

Arsenal (A)
Hull (H)
Stoke (H)
Southampton (A)
Liverpool (H)
Aston Villa (A)

Lukaku

The man who can’t seem to produce a double figure point performance continues as he left off last season.  Also going in fits and starts this season.  Very ordinary underlying shooting and creating chances stats don’t exactly inspire confidence.  What he does have is 3 excellent home games

West Ham (H)
Spurs (A)
Hull (H)
Man City (A)
QPR (H)
Southampton (A)

Welbeck

Not certain to play either through injury which meeds to be assessed or the fact that Giroud is available.  However you would have though Giroud is more likely to start from the bench.  However unless Wenger keeps with his 4-4-2 and decides that the 2 would be Welbeck and Giroud then his place in the short term is surely under scrutiny.  Good underlying stats, it’s just can he finish those chances.  Fixtures are pretty ordinary

Man Utd (H)
West Brom (A)
Southampton (H)
Stoke (A)
Newcastle (H)
Liverpool (A)
