A few players to comment on

The information in the schedule should be enough to make an assessment on a player for a transfer but there’s a couple of players who would benefit from a few words

Players who missed out due to injury doubts

There would be ranking is the number next to them

Lacazette 6, Ings 24

Players who missed out due to gametime risk

8 Timo Werner Chelsea, 15 Joelinton Newcastle United

Antonio

The West Ham striker is good and his underlying stats incredible. The negatives I would say is that he tends to underperform those stats and either has monster games or very quiet ones.

2 great fixtures to end the season on with potentially everything to play for

Calvert Lewin

A pure goalscorer who adds little creativity but his underlying stats represent value for money and 6 of his last 9 starts have seen an acceptable attacking output. Does underperform his underlying stats somewhat which doesn’t help though

Does have the advantage of a DGW35 and a fixture in BGW36. The fixtures are a little mixed although he does play current whipping boys Sheffield United in the run in

Watkins

Has been good in the last 2 matches vs WBA and Everton but has had 4 very poor games in the last 10 and in particular his shooting volumes and quality haven’t been good in a number of games.

Does have the advantage of a DGW35 and a fixture in BGW36 but 3 of the last 5 fixtures aren’t exactly easy and without Grealish in the team there is a big creative void missing.

Bamford

It’s all gone horribly wrong for Bamford and in 3 of the last 4 games he hasn’t taken a shot. Does have 3 fantastic fixtures to finish and if you’re picking him you’re doing it on faith from earlier season performances plus the fixtures and the hope that Raphinha will be fit.

Fixture Ease Schedule

Here’s a schedule ranking their fixtures to the end of the season by the ease of the defences they face

It’s still on the basis of Man Utd v Liverpool going to GW36 and Liverpool v WBA going into GW35 which is not guaranteed by any stretch. There’s still a theory that Liverpool v WBA could be in GW36.
