To start lets look at their stats for the last 3 games when they’ve both started together.  Both have scored 2 goals with Sturridge also getting an assist.

Suarez despite the Arsenal game when he was out wide still stands up against Suarez in the underlying stats.  He had more shots in the box although Sturridge had the better accuracy.  Suarez also has assists and creating chances in his locker which Sturridge doesn’t.  Apart from the Arsenal game Suarez’s average position isn’t that much different from Sturridges.

Its a no brainer Suarez is miles ahead on all the underlying stats.  More sots in the box more penalty box touches and more chances created.

Summary

Its Suarez all the way for me. He’s holding his own against Sturridge on the recent games and has the reliability gained this season.  Sturridge is also mentioned as still having an injury doubt although most information expects him still to play
