Sterling v Aguero stats
Sterling Stats
Sterling at home in 18/19 starting vs non top 6 sides
Man City in 19/20 has yet to play a non top 6 side at home.
However so far this season Sterling’s played 3 90 minute games for 5 goals and 34 FPL points at a PPM of 11.3
Aguero stats
Aguero at home in 18/19 starting vs non top 6 sides
Man City in 19/20 has yet to play a non top 6 side at home.
However so far this season he’s started 2 ganes plus 1 as sub for 4 goals in 21, 65 and 90 minute spells. Total of 24 FPL points at a PPM of 8.0
Defences
Brighton last season away from home were ranked 14th for goals conceded letting in 32 in 19 games. Their xGA was 37 making them 15th ranked away from home.
This season they have a more attacking manager in Potter. They have only played 1 goal away from home winning 3-0 at Watford
Summary
The bookies have Sterling and Aguero equal at £1.55 for an anytime goalscorer.
The Polls have Sterling a clear leader but as the question is who will be your captain that would bias people to Sterling through a significantly higher ownership at least among readers. In the whole game its 20% ownership Aguero vs 47% Sterling.
Again the contributors are 95% Sterling although I don’t believe any own Aguero.
The stats favour Sterling. However Jesus remains an injury doubt which gives him more of a shout to play 90 mins which would even up those stats.
Aguero has penalty duties
FFGeek view
I don’t own Aguero so it’s Sterling for me. I think if I did own Aguero I would still captain Sterling based on the stats.
The transfer in and out polls
The Martial definitely out news was late in the week so the polls probably aren’t that relevant as it appeared earlier in the week he was going to be ok
