Zaha
Had an absolutely stunning 20 minutes where he ran riot against Newcastle on his first game back for Palace and was unlucky to only score 1. Had a difficult time with Man Utd but was a hero for Palace in the Championship. A gamble but on the back of very good fixtures.
Next 6 fixtures:
Burnley (H)
Everton (A)
Leicester (H)
Hull (A)
Chelsea (H)
West Brom (A)
Henderson
2 assists in 3 games is a good start going into a very good set of fixtures. Hasn’t really got a great track record or shown ability to get shots in the box but if he’s going to be the mini Ramsey that his engine could produce then these are the fixtures to do it. A gamble though
Aston Villa (H)
West Ham (A)
Everton (H)
West Brom (H)
QPR (A)
Hull (H)
McGeady
The 2 goal hero for Ireland during the week has been pretty impressive when he’s played. It’s keeping his spot that’s going to be the issue though rather than form with a number of midfield options available. Pienaar returning this week will be the first challenge. However if you’re willing to take the gametime risk the fixtures are ok and his form is excellent
West Brom (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Liverpool (A)
Man Utd (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Burnley (A)
Puncheon
The man who likes to shoot on sight has scored twice in the 2 games he’s played and has some reasonable fixtures around the corner. Has been consistent over the last 2 years and is a reliable choice
Next 6 fixtures:
Burnley (H)
Everton (A)
Leicester (H)
Hull (A)
Chelsea (H)
West Brom (A)
Rodwell
A bit of a leap of faith on my part but if he’s going to perform then he has reasonable fixtures coming up after the Spurs game to do so. Has shown an ability to get shots in the box but still a bit of a punt
Spurs (H)
Burnley (A)
Swansea (H)
Stoke (H)
Southampton (A)
Arsenal (H)
Dyer
The form player in the price tag at the moment. Can he keep it up is the question? Certainly has had the best of the fixtures thats for sure. Fixtures after Chelsea aren’t bad. Underlying stats are ok but not at the level he’s performing but that isn’t a perfect correlation as we’ve seen before
Chelsea (A)
Southampton (H)
Sunderland (A)
Newcastle (H)
Stoke (A)
Leicester (H)
The £4.5m options
These are for sitting on your bench at minimum price and filling in for unexpected injuries
Jones and Marney of Burnley: Both have played 90 minutes in all 3 games. No goal or assist from either as yet. Marney had the better returb record in the Championship
King of Leicester has started 3 games for 1 assist
Very little other reliable choices
