Some player suggestions for GW13 transfers

Wolves

Wolves have 2 great fixtures next and with alot of FPL managers doubling up added to the fact that for me they are the best cheap defensive team now is a good time to invest.  If Doherty is fit he’s the natural choice otherwise I would go cheap for Bennett.  There is no better entry point for a transfer than home to Huddersfield.

Huddersfield (H)
Cardiff (A)
Chelsea (H)
Newcastle (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Liverpool (H)

Man City

Man City are the best defensive team for me.  Given the Mendy injury I would probably focus on Laporte as the most likely starter.  He does have a bonus issue and although has 2 goals this season in all competitions isn’t that prolific at set pieces.  Stones is the cheaper option.  If Mendy is out long term it could be that Delph and sometimes Zinchenko who play LB but for the same price I would stick with Stones

West Ham (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Watford (A)
Chelsea (A)
Everton (H)
Crystal Palace (H)

Liverpool

2nd best defence for me.  Van Dijk is the safest option.  Robertson the attacking option and Alexander Arnold the cheap option with less attacking potential and less security.  Take your pick and just ride out the rotation.

Watford (A)
Everton (H)
Burnley (A)
Bournemouth (A)
Man Utd (H)
Wolves (A)

Everton

the fixtures aren’t great for Everton and Digne is probably just over the edge of cost that I would pay for someone who’s on my bench as a defender.  He does have attacking potential but I sometimes see that, weirdly, as a disadvantage as you feel compelled to play them in fixtures with little clean sheet potential for fear of missing out on an unexpected double figure haul due to that attacking potential.  If you’re going to do it home to Cardiff is a decent entry point.

Cardiff (H)
Liverpool (A)
Newcastle (H)
Watford (H)
Man City (A)
Spurs (H)
