Player suggestions

Here we are looking for players with a good GW3 fixture, in a strong defence with a good ongoing fixtures:

Manchester City – Benjamin Mendy is the obvious defender to own here

Liverpool – another strong defence.  Robertson is the more expensive attacking option at £6.0m.  Alexander Arnold also offers attacking threat from LB but has been alot more wayward with his crossing to date.

Chelsea – Go for the cheap option of Luiz at £5.5m or the attacking option of Alonso at £6.6m

Southampton – Cedric. Short term fixtures are good but then get harder but at £4.5m you can afford to pick and choose whether he plays or stays on your bench.

There’s no great rotation pairs starting at GW3 with longevity but you can look at the pairing options in my pre-season defensive pairings article
