With the Euro 2016 final tonight and speculation that the fantasy premier league site will be opening on Monday 11th July then I thought it was worth setting out that we will be starting our series of pre-season posts tomorrow. This season we’ll be covering the 4 main formats. Fantasy premier league, Sun Dream Team, Sky Sports fantasy football and telegraph fantasy football. Below we’ll talk about how we’ll approach pre-season and the season itself

The pre-season will start by focusing on new players to the premier league, pre-season games as these will establish lineups and form as well as trying to figure out what our fantasy premier league gameweek 1 team will look like. We’ll also be looking at rule changes for any of the different formats and again working towards gameweek 1 teams with these. We’ll also look to do some strategy articles and see if some of our regular contributors to the site will show their teams
