Fantasy Premier League, fixture ease schedule

Here’s our  fantasy premier league fixture analysis article where we look at the teams with the best attacking fixtures from GW14 over a 3 and 6 gameweek period. There’s also some attacking player suggestions with their basic stats and their next 6 fixtures. I’ve also introduced a new element this season where we look for clumps of good fixtures for teams to help you pick out a good time to transfer a player in

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

The team ranked 1 has the best fixtures from an attacking view point over the next 3 weeks. There are an extra columns for the next 6 weeks.

Underneath that there’s a section called fixture clumps. There’s a schedule which identifies each team where a good run of fixtures starts. The fixture run will also have to have a good entry point fixture. I’ve done these up to fixtures starting at GW19 and will update them each week

PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

I normally only give attacking player suggestions for teams that have the best ranked fixtures for the first 3 and the first 6 games which is what I’ve done this week

Chelsea

3 players for me.

£10.6m forward Morata has scored 8 goals and 4 assists in 10 games and 2 part games. He’s also posting good underlying stats and on a pretty consistent basis too although he was quiet against Liverpool at the weekend.  He’s probably more rotatable than Hazard given that he’s played since the start of the season unlike Hazard.  However with Batshuayi injured there’s no cover for the new 2 man strike force option

£10.7m midfielder Hazard after a slow start has got 3 goals and an 3 assists in 7 starts and 3 sub appearances. However in the last 5 he has only not returned in 1 of those games. Like Morata he was quiet in the Liverpool game but has turned his season around with 3 games of good stats prior to that.  Playing as a strike partner to Morata in a 3-5-2 formation he also has pens.

The 2 above are bound to be among he most voted for in our captain poll article

£6.9m midfielder Fabregas is the budget option.  Plays in the 3 man central midfield of the 3-5-2 and although started on the bench against Liverpool he transformed the game when coming on and I would be surprised if his creativity isn’t needed for the Swansea game and run of good fixtures.  Has some set piece responsibility.  The question mark remains over 1 goal and 3 assists in 10 starts and 2 sub appearances.  It’s also only 1 returning game in his last 4 starts.  However his underlying stats have shown a great improvement which gives hope that he can do more than just assist the assister.

Swansea (H)
Newcastle (H)
West Ham (A)
Huddersfield (A)
Southampton (H)
Everton (A)

Crystal Palace

£6.9m midfielder Zaha is probably the only one for me at the moment.  He’s been playing as a striker in a 2 man front line with Townsend.  That seems likely to end with Benteke coming back and he will play wider which will blunt his goal threat. It’s 3 goals in 7 starts and he’s also generally posted good underlying stats although was disappontingly quiet in the win over Stoke

For me I would like to see £7.6m forward Benteke start before I even consider throwing the dice with him.

£4.5m Mid Loftus Cheek for me is the best of he £4.5ms for me and a handy player to come in for injuries and even start in rotation if you have other scheduling issues

Brighton (A)
West Brom (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Watford (H)
Leicester (A)
Swansea (A)

BRIGHTON

2 players here for me:

£6.0m Mid Pascal Gross.  He’s the set piece man and plays as a number 10/virtual striker.  In 13 starts he’s got 3 goals and 5 assists.  After starting with 3 blanks he’s returned a goal or assist in 6 of the 10 subsequent games.  He is an incredible bonus magnet picking up 14 to date including famously 3 in the 1-0 loss to Man Utd.  No one has earned more with Kane the only other player at that level.  Salah has 10.

£5.8m Fwd Murray.  The 34 year old forced his way into the team after taking over when Hemed was suspended.  4 goals in 7 starts and 4 short sub appearances.  Underlying stats have gone off the boil after a good run and he’s blanked in his last 2.  Does have pens.

Crystal Palace (H)
Liverpool (H)
Huddersfield (A)
Spurs (A)
Burnley (H)
Watford (H)

EVERTON

No one at the moment while £5.0m cheapie forward Niasse is suspended

West Ham (H)
Huddersfield (H)
Liverpool (A)
Newcastle (A)
Swansea (H)
Chelsea (H)
