Fantasy Premier League, fixture ease schedule

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURE RANKING – THE FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

An introduction

This article assumes that the remaining fixtures without a date set are put into GW37. However that to some extent isn’t relevant as the schedule measures fixtures in their entirety and does haven’t any inherent positive adjustment for a team having a double gameweek.

However the teams double gameweeks and blank weeks are also marked on the schedule

The schedule explained

The order of the teams firstly is the best attacking fixtures for GW33-38.

The next 3 columns then identifies positively which teams have a 2 games in 34, a fixture in 35 and a potential DGW37 subject to the fixture postponements going as I expect

ATTACKING PLAYER SUGGESTIONS

I’ve chosen 4 teams to give player suggestions on and some basic stats. Burnley, Arsenal, Leicester and Chelsea

BURNLEY

The only side with a DGW34 and a game in 35.  A good team for FPL managers without a free hit.

3 potential players for me. Barnes, Gudmundsson and Wood.

£5.4m fwd Barnes has scored in his last 4 and pretty much plays 90 minutes each game.  His points per 90 mins played is pretty ordinary though at only 3.8 not helped by only 6 bonus points despite scoring 7 goals this season.

£6.3m fwd Wood has scored 4 goals and 1 assist in 2 sub appearances and 1 start since coming back from injury.  His season PP90 is a very good 6.0 helped by a much better bonus position with 14

£5.1m Mid Gudmundsson has an injury scare but is expected to start GW33.  He has been steady if unspectacular with a PP90 of 3.7 and it seems in favour pretty much playing 90 mins every game since GW10.  He also has some set piece responsibility

 33 Watford (A)
34 Leicester (H)
34 Chelsea (H)
35 Stoke (A)
36 Brighton (H)
37 Arsenal (A)
38 Bournemouth (H)

LEICESTER

Leicester have doubles in 34 and the anticipated DGW37 and no European or FA Cup distractions

Mahrez and Vardy for me here.

£8.9m Mid Mahrez  generally plays 90 and has set piece responsibility. He’s started 27 games plus 2 as sub and with 10 goals and 11 assists.   His PP90 of 6.4 is very good helped by an ability to pick up bonus points with 18

£8.9m fwd Vardy has started 30 games and o sub appearances and is also a 90 minute player plus has penalties. He’s scored 15 goals and 2 assists for a PP90 of 4.8.  He’s also shown an ability to get bonus with 20 points although he hasn’t got 1 in his last 6 games which included 4 goals strangely.

 33 Newcastle (H)
34 Burnley (A)
34 Southampton (H)
35 None
36 Crystal Palace (A)
37 West Ham (H)
37 Arsenal (H)
38 Spurs (A)

 Arsenal

Only the 1 game in DGW34 but they do have a good GW35 fixture and 2 games in the anticipated DGW37

Arsenal have no chance of a top 4 spot so the focus is on the Europa League for which £10.7m Aubameyang is ineligible.    It’s been a good start with 6 games, all 90 minutes, for 5 goals and an assist with a PP90 of 6.5 which includes 6 bonus points.  Took a pen v Stoke and said he gifted the other to Lacazette which implies he has responsibility.

Mkhitaryan’s benching at the weekend makes him a difficult pick now for PL games

 33 Southampton (H)
34 Newcastle (A)
35 West Ham (H)
36 Man Utd (A)
37 Burnley (H)
37 Leicester (A)
38 Huddersfield (A)

CHELSEA

£7.1m Willian is my top pick.  He’s now started the last 4 and played 90 minutes in 3 to make it 17 starts plus 13 sub appearances.  When playing he’s been productive he’s with 6 goals and 7 assists at a PP90 of 6.8. His 13 bonus points is ok too.

£10.6m Hazard has now blanked in his last 3 games.  Over the season he’s  started 23 games plus 4 as sub for 11 goals and 5 assists. His ability to get bonus with 23 so far has given him an excellent PP90 of 7.0. He also has penalty responsibility.

£10.4m Morata having started v Spurs and scored could come back as an option for me although he is more in the “punt” status.  Although his appearances in that period were sporadic that was only his first goal to add to 1 assist since GW16.  However strong early season form has seen 20 starts plus 5 as sub for 11 goals and 5 assists plus 13 bonus points at a reasonably healthy 5.6 PPG.  Giroud does make him a minutes risk especially if Chelsea are ahead

 33 West Ham (H)
34 Southampton (A)
34 Burnley (A)
35 None
36 Swansea (A)
37 Liverpool (H)
37 Huddersfield (H)
38 Newcastle (A)
