fantasy premier league fixtures tips – GW8 fixture ease and introducing fixture clumps

Fantasy Premier League, fixture ease schedule

Here’s our fantasy premier league fixtures tips article where we look at the teams with the best attacking fixtures from GW8 over a 3 and 6 gameweek period. There’s also some attacking player suggestions with their basic stats and their next 6 fixtures.  I’ve also introduced a new element where we look for clumps of good fixtures for teams to help you pick out a good time to transfer a player in

FIXTURE EASE SCHEDULE

Just to remind you if you don’t remember it from last season. The team ranked 1 has the best fixtures from an attacking view point over the next 3 weeks. There are an extra columns for the next 6 weeks.

I’ve marked in green the teams that have the best fixtures over the first 3 weeks and 6 weeks and but also with a good next fixture. These will be the teams that I will give attacking player suggestions to.

Underneath that I’ve started a new section called fixture clumps.  There’s a schedule which identifies each team where a good run of fixtures starts.  The fixture run will also have to have a good entry point fixture.  I’ve done these up to starting at GW13 and will update them each week

Player suggestions

I normally only give attacking player suggestions for teams that have the best ranked fixtures for the first 3 and the first 6 games.  This week I’ve added in Manchester City who have the 7th ranked attacking fixtures over 6 weeks

Southampton

With no guaranteed striker and when there is his minutes are generally curtailed and a whole lot of misfiring midfielders it’s not an easy choice.  If you were desperate to have a Southampton player in your team then £6.5m Mid Tadic (points per match 2.7) would be my pick.  He at least has some underlying stats even if there’s only a single goal (a penalty) in his first 7 games to show for it which hardly inspires confidence.

West Brom (H)
Brighton (A)
Burnley (H)
Liverpool (A)
Everton (H)

Man City

£10.5m forward Jesus (PPM 5.7)  is the beneficiary of the Aguero injury and as the only out and out striker now should see some benefits to his gametime although the reverse could happen and he’s taken off early or not played in some games to protect him.  It’s hard to predict Pep.

In midfield £8.5m David Silva (PPM 6.3) is possibly the most secure gametime wise.  He is the chief creator but mainly an assist based player.  Then there’s £7.9m AM Sterling (5.8 PPM) and  £8.3m Sane (PPM 5.3).  At a very minimum I think one will play while Aguero’s injured and if Pep sticks with a back 4 both could play.  They both have more goal threat and play further forward than Silva but probably aren’t as gametime secure.  However everything has to be caveated with the unpredictability that is Pep

Stoke (H)
Burnley (H)
West Brom (A)
Arsenal (H)
Leicester (A)
Huddersfield (A)

Swansea

Another very difficult one.  To me there isn’t anyone.  If you were desperate you might think of £5.6m forward Abraham (PPM 3.7).  However Clement now has Bony and Abraham maybe a risk if Clement goes back to a lone striker

Fixture Clumps

Here I’ve gone through each teams upcoming schedule to GW13 onwards and identified what I think are a good run of fixtures with a entry point for a transfer.  It will help you plan your transfers in advance.  It will also help you think about whether you should hold onto a player.  For example if you were thinking of dumping Choup Moting with the City fixture next you might decide to hold on seeing that GW9 brings a decent run of fixtures
