Important note before going further

I’ve now changed the focus to the last 10 gameweeks rather than the season

The first schedule ranks players by their underlying stats expected goal and assists converted to FPL points in the last 10 gameweeks . Those who are expected to be the penalty taker have an * next to their name. They are analysed on xG the rest on non penalty xG. This is different than previously.

The F Ease is the fixture ease ranking.

The value for money VFM ratio is the total expected points from their underlying stats divided by their price

The 2nd schedule shows their xG90 (expected goals) and xA90 (expected assists) plus their shots per 90 and key passes per 90.

There’s also anytime goalscorer odds.

I’ve already posted the defender rankings and midfield player rankings

Player values and PPMs are as of Thursday 8 April

The schedule ranked by Forwards underlying stats over the last 10 Gameweeks

Here is the link to the google spreadsheet. You can go to file>make a copy and then sort it how you like. 200 mins needed to qualify. Underlying Stats are from the free site understat.com

A few comments

Harry Kane

5 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 gameweeks. 19 goals and 13 assists. He has returned a goal or assist in 18 of his 28 games for a very impressive 64% return rate. You almost wonder if he could do the unthinkable double of 20 goals and 20 assists.

Great underlying stats, penalties and DGW32. Dangerous not to own

Iheanacho

Now played 5 consecutive games which have resulted in 6 goals. Still has to navigate the return of Maddison and Barnes and any residual desire of Rodgers to play his favoured 4-1-4-1 although to be fair Rodgers is pretty tactically versatile and that could keep him in due to his form

Great underlying stats although recent stats are distorted somewhat by the 5-0 thrashing of Sheff Utd. However what’s good is that they aren’t that different over the season than what he has produced in 2 of his last 3 seasons with Leicester. It’s just now he’s putting the ball in the net whereas before he was slightly underperforming these stats.

C Wilson

Not guaranteed he will start given he’s coming back from injury

The stats for this ranking are made up of 3 games only and distorted by a fantastic prformance at Everton. That’s given him a bit of a false ranking. In actual fact if you look at his last 10 starts there’s at least 4 performances of absolutely nothing. Volumes aren’t great which is never a good sign especially in a side that hasn’t really performed attacking wise.

Jesus

Started 4 of the last 5 games and scored 4 goals. That obviously doesn’t mean anything in terms of starting in GW31 given the unpredictability of Pep but he didn’t start midweek in the UCL which does give some hope.

The emergence of Aguero from injury does cause gametime risk although given how the league is wrapped up ad Aguero leaves at the end of the season you’d think he’d be played as much as he reasonably can.

The underlying stats are very good with barely a poor performance in there although volumes are still less than you’d like consistently

Ings

The underlying stats recently just aren’t very good and we’ve just seen 2 goals and 1 assist in the last 10 gameweeks

Lacazette

Didn’t make the numbers threshold although that was down to average minutes and the likelihood that when it comes to the crunch Aubameyang will take pens. The harsh reality is that in he last 10 gameweeks he’s started 7 times scored 1 non penalty goal and 2 assists. There have been 2 short sub appearances and 1 no show.

His underlying stats over that period are nothing short of appalling.

This is even before I mention the Europa League related mass rotation and the fact that he competes with Aubameyang for he CF position even if at the moment he appears to be wining that battle.

Fixture Ease

Here’s a schedule ranking their fixtures to the end of the season by the ease of the defences they face
