Important note before going further
I’ve now changed the focus to the last 10 gameweeks rather than the season
The first schedule ranks players by their underlying stats expected goal and assists converted to FPL points in the last 10 gameweeks . Those who are expected to be the penalty taker have an * next to their name. They are analysed on xG the rest on non penalty xG. This is different than previously.
The F Ease is the fixture ease ranking.
The value for money VFM ratio is the total expected points from their underlying stats divided by their price
The 2nd schedule shows their xG90 (expected goals) and xA90 (expected assists) plus their shots per 90 and key passes per 90.
There’s no anytime goalscorer odds as they aren’t available for all games.
I’ve already posted the defender rankings and midfield rankings
Player values and PPMs are as of Thursday 15 April
The schedule ranked by Forwards underlying stats over the last 10 Gameweeks
The stats are purely mathematical and convert the xG/xA into FPL attacking points. In commentary below I will elaborate further where needed
Here is the link to the google spreadsheet. You can go to file>make a copy and then sort it how you like. 200 mins needed to qualify. Underlying Stats are from the free site understat.com
A few comments
I’m using comments to elaborate on players where the maths in converting xG/xA to FPL points needs more explanation
Jesus and Werner
Jesus has finally produced some underlying stats which are very close to being value for money and has started 5 of the last 6 in the PL. That rotation risk will always be there though and he’s not cheap.
Similar for Werner who’s started 3 of the last 5
Lacazette and Welbeck
Both players who have produced good stats but are hampered by their average minutes over the last 10.
Lacazette would be 5th if he averaged around 80 minutes and Welbecks stats are excellent but he’s hampered by 51 minutes average.
Players not in the schedule due to injury
I’ve put what would be their ranking next to them
Antonio 1, Calvert Lewin 4 and Martial 9.
Players not in the schedule due to gametime risk
Maja 13 and Adams 21
Fixture Ease Schedule
Here’s a schedule ranking their fixtures to the end of the season by the ease of the defences they face
