fantasy premier league game week 13 Saturday overview match analysis

Gameweek analysis

Here’s the overview of the stats for fantasy premier league game week 13 –  Saturday

Sunderland 2 WBA 4

The conundrum of Sunderland being a good defensive side at home but not away started to unravel with this game.  Neither side defended well.   Sessegnon with a goal and assist, Fletcher and Johnson led the shooting stats and the ridiculously talented teenager Lukaku, also with a goal and assist, was the only one showing any stats despite the 4 goals from WBA.  Fletcher and Sessgnon had the most pen box touches and Johnson,  Larsson and Morrison led the chances created column.

Wigan 3 Reading 2

Hideous defence from both teams in this game.  Gomez absolutely monstered the shooting  stats with his hat trick.  Le Fondre had very good stats then it was Kone and Robson Kanu.  Those 4 also led the pen box touches and McAnuff, Beausejour and Gomez led the chances created.

Everton 1 Norwich 1

A disappointing result for Everton although they should have won with a superior attack and defence.  Osman and Baines led the shooting stats.  Pen box touches was Osman and Naismith.  No one showed up in the chances created column.

Aston Villa 0 Arsenal 0

A surprising clean sheet for Villa and a show of where Lamberts going with the team.  Pretty good defensive stats all round for both teams.  Best shooting stats were from Benteke and surprisingly Ramsey.  Cazorla and Giroud had disappointing shooting stats.  Benteke was miles ahead of everyone on the pen box touches.  Giroud and Ramsey led the chances created column.

Manchester Utd 3 QPR 1

A disappointing result for the high % of fantasy premier league managers who had RVP as captain against the team with the worst defensive record in the league.   UNited defended well and the goal was unlucky.  Despite the plaudits QPRs defensive stats were horrible.  Saying all that there was nothing wrong with RVPs shooting stats it was just he didnt get enough on target.  Rooney was the next in line.  RVP, Roooney and Welbeck led the pen box touches.  Rooney led the chances created with Welbeck and Dyer next.

Stoke 1 Fulham 0

Fantastic defensive stats  from Stoke, a deserved clean sheet against a strong attacking side.  Cant say the same from Fulham who were disappointing defensively.  Best shooting stats were easily Adam.  Berba had virtually no shooting stats.  Pen box touches were Huth Walters and Crouch.  Chances created were Crouch and Etherington.
