Nothing particularly shocking in the Norwich line up which is looking far more settled

The only surprise in the Sunderland line up is that McLean returned to the team over Colback with Larsson moving in to the centre.

Heres  the headlines from the game

  • Norwich had 54% possession but with the shot count going to Sunderland
  • Sunderland had the better defensive stats from the game totally out of character for their normal away defending
  • Best shot stats were from Sessgenon then Bassong who scored.  On the edge of this was Gardner and Pilkington
  • Pen box touches were led by Bassong, Holt and Sessegnon
  • Adam Johnson led the chances created column
  • 2 highest % owned players for Norwich Garrido and Holt had quiet games
  • Highest % owned Sunderland player Fletcher suffered an injury to his ankle.  No news yet much to the consternation of his fantasy premier league owners for the 2 games they play in game week 16
  • most forward midfielders were Pilkington and Sessegnon

Personally I don’t see any player making a compelling case for the Sunderland game week 16 2 games at home to Reading and Chelsea.  Cheap rotation defender Cuellar and Sessgenon are the best bets if you want to take that step.  Personally I don’t think Sessegnon warrants a spot.

Just Newcastle v Wigan to go.  I’ll be cheering on Ba after a poor fantasy premier league game week for me.
