Fantasy premier league gameweek 38 – the bandwagons and sinking ships

Fantasy Premier League

Here’s the fantasy premier league gameweek 38 bandwagons and sinking ships ie the 3 most transferred out and in players so far this gameweek

The Bandwagons

Sturridge

With 70k transfers in vs the next most transferred in of Coutinho at 14k he’s the landslide bandwagon leader.  2nd in the shooting stats for the last 6 game weeks to RVP and with the best shooting stats of the round he’s a good choice at home to relegated QPR.  It’s 46 points in the last 4 games and 6 goals and 2 assists.  QPR certainly don’t have the worst away defensive record with 31 goals conceded in 18 games and 3 clean sheets but its in the lower third.   QPR’s record away from home is a little mixed against the elite siades but with relagation assured and morale at an all time low its possible there could be a significant home win.  Liverpool will play  Sturridge and essentially Coutinho to keep momentum and because they haven’t been overplayed this season. BUY

Coutinho

Has been in and around the shooting stats and the chances created stats recently and with 22 points in his last 3 games (which incidentally is all assists) he looks a good bet going in to a home game against QPR.  Again a low level of games this year means he’s likely to start against QPR given his partnership with Sturridge.  BUY

Walcott

Walcotts one of my favourite midfielder players and I’m surprised there are as many as 11k people out there who don’t own him.  One of the best shooting stats of the midfielders with only Bale and Michu having better stats given a view of the  season and where they are now.  Also plays in a very advanced position and its 27 points in his last 3 games.  However the away game against Newcastle is not one of the easier games although Arsenal do have to win and will goout to attack against a poor home defence.  Its still a BUY for me though

The Sinking Ships

Benteke

Suspended for the last game after 2 yellows against Wigan.  Its an obvious SELL

Lukaku

Home to Manchester Utd who have had the best defence over the last few months by some distance is a good place to start if you’re looking to sell to buy in Sturridge.  I am a huge fan but I think there are better alternatives.  Its a SELL for me

Michu

Not sure why you would want to sell him before a home game to Fulham at all.  He started last week against Utd and there’s no hint that he wont be playing in the last game.  The midfielder with the best shooting stats who has consistently played just behind or as a striker.  Leading the last 6 gameweek shooting stats and the overall season shooting stats leader.  13 points in his last 3 starts but those were games against Utd, City and Chelsea.  In shots in the box conceded, big chances to score and clean sheets Fulham are up there with the worst in their away record.  Goals conceded has been more lower third.  To balance that out though their recent goals conceded has been quite impressive away from home.  However there’s no way I’d be selling him and if I didn’t own him and I’d be seriously considering purchasing him if I didn’t own him.  HOLD
