Here’s the fixtures for GW11:

The bookies see 4 teams as favourites with the following win odds for £1 invested. It’s likely the fantasy premier league GW11 captain choice will come from one of those teams.

Spurs £1.28 – Kane, Alli or Eriksen

Man City £1.44 – Aguero, Jesus, Sane, Sterling, D Silva, De Bruyne

Liverpool £1.61 – Salah, Firmino, Sturridge

Southampton £1.61 – Gabbiadini

If you want to see detailed stats on these players you can see it in our player ranking articles for midfielders and forwards

THE BOOKIES ODDS

Here we look at one of the bookies anytime goal scoring odds. I’ve tried to only put players in who have some gametime security although that doesn’t apply for Man City. It’s the return for £1 invested. Odds are as of Saturday morning and remember they assume the player starts and don’t count assist potential.

£1.40 – Kane

£1.65– Aguero and Jesus

£1.83 – Dele Alli

£2.10 – Sturridge, Salah,Firmino

£2.15 – Sane, Sterling,

£2.25 – Morata

£2.30 – Vardy, Joselu, Abraham, Gabbiadini, Eriksen

£2.40 – Lukaku

THE FPL ADVICE SITE POLLS.

Thanks to everybody who voted in the FFGeek poll. You may remember it was started after the Spurs and the Man City UCL game had finished so included the most up to date info. I know that at site with the most traffic also started later in the week this time.

It’s also worth noting here that the FFGeek poll asks who you are going to appoint as captain to reflect the reality of the spread of captain choices. Others ask who is the best captain. Others just say captain poll and leave the question up to you.

Firstly here’s the FFGeek poll:

Here’s the summary of the other main advice polls. It’s worth noting that site 1 is the site with the most traffic

THE FFGEEK CHOICE

So I’m not going against such a massive tide and I’ll be picking Kane as my captain.  I’ve seen some words of Poch saying he needs to change the team after the midweek games so I suppose he could be rested but I’d like to think Southgate will give him some rest over the International break as he hardly needs to see what Kane can do.

I do have reservations about him though.  Anyone who hasn’t scored in a new stadium at home to Bournemouth, Burnley and Swansea has to be treated with some caution.  His underlying stats and hitting the post has meant FPL managers have kept the faith and I would say that only in the games against Swansea and Chelsea this season has he not reached a goal threat standard you would be looking for.  He also has pens which is a big benefit.  The last 4 games he’s also been exceptional.

Of the others to me there’s too much chance that Aguero won’t start although he is playing Arsenal so maybe Pep will put out his full strength team irrespective of midweek of which Aguero undoubtedly is one of.

Salah I do believe in and it’s good to have a vice captain that you can rely on.  He consistently puts up good stats and West Ham have Fonte, Zabaleta and Collins all unavailable.  although crucially Reid looks like he will be fit which is a shame as he would have been a big loss
