Fantasy premier league GW13 captain poll – plus a transfer in and out poll

,

Here’s our fantasy premier league GW13 captain poll for you to say who will be your captain this week.  There are also the polls for who you are planning on transferring in and also for who you are transferring out in the gameweek.

Fantasy premier league GW13 captain poll – plus a transfer in and out poll

An earlier Poll this week as I want to get my captain article out earlier than usual.  There’s 3 polls. These are the normal captain and the transfer in and out polls return. Again just to remind you there is a rolling over and chips use part of the transfer poll.

Unfortunately on all 3 polls there’s only 1 vote. That makes sense on the Captain Poll. On the transfer polls I would have liked to have 2 but there’s no obvious way of allowing it so sorry it’s 1 vote only.

Add any comments below on your reasoning.

The fixtures

The anytime goalscorer odds

Odds were as of Tuesday and are just the leading odds to £2.25

They may help you make a decision. Remember though that they assume the player starts and don’t count any assist potential. The odds are the return for £1 invested.

£1.61 – Aguero

£1.83 – Salah

£1.95 – Kane

£2.00 – Sterling

£2.05 – Lacazette

£2.10 – Richarlison

£2.15 – Mane, Sane, Mahrez

£2.20 – Aubameyang

£2.25 – Vardy, Martial

The polls

I have had some issues with the polls taking a while to load. Apologies if this is still the case but please be patient. Thanks for taking the time to vote.

    • Thanks Yaniv for the spot. Much appreciated. It’s 1.61. I put them around the wrong way

Thanks again Yaniv. Appreciate you picking these things up

  1. Hi. I love the captain poll. However, I do think the result is heavily influenced by the order that the players are represented. It leads people naturally to vote in that way. How about presenting 20 names in alphabetical order to create a less influenced vote ??

    • Hi Andrew thanks for the comment. I said above that I put them in the order of the anytime goal scoring odds as it feels a logical way to put them so the most likely captain is at the top.

I’m happy to listen to any feedback on the order. An alphabetical order may favour Aguero?

One thing I would say is that the FFGeek poll has been pretty accurately replicating the top 10k fpl discovery captain results which I think is handy as that can be a pretty useful proxy for what active FPL managers are doing

      Cheers

  2. Aguero is about 1.50 to score anytime. But I don’t much like Aguero as captain away from the Ethihad this season. He has only got the 1 goal against Cardiff. Still obviously capable of producing on the road but he wouldnt be a comfortable pick right now. I like Salah away even less so. I chose Richarlison in the vote (I’m not swayed by the layout of the vote) because that’s who I think is the best option this weekend. The result should be interesting.

Thanks for your comments. I have corrected the Aguero vote odds. Apologies for that.

You make an interesting point which I haven’t hear before regarding the order I put the options in. I normally follow the anytime goal scoring odds and then add others afterwards. I had no idea that people would be influenced by the order.

Like to hear more feedback on this

  3. Could you not randomise the list every time ? There will be apps/ websites that allow you to input an lost and put it in a random order maybe ? Probably the most impartial way of doing it.
