Here’s our fantasy premier league GW15 article where we outline the most transferred in players so far in the gameweek (the bandwagons) and the most transferred out (the sinking ships). There’s a table of stats on each as well as some narrative on their prospects and their next 6 fixtures
FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW15 – THE BANDWAGONS AND SINKING SHIPS
THE BANDWAGONS
These are the 5 most transferred in players so far in the gameweek. The fixt ease column shows the easeiness ranking of the next 6/3 fixtures. Go to this link for the full article on fixture ease. Values are as per Monday
KANE
The Spurs striker in this injury interrupted season has been very consistent when playing. However the attraction is Burnley and Hull in the next 3. 7 goals and an assist in 9 games returning a goal or assist in 6 of those is a great start to the season. Has pens.
Man Utd (A)
Hull (H)
Burnley (H)
Southampton (A)
Watford (A)
Chelsea (H)
SANCHEZ
A sensational hat trick against West Ham in a crazy ending to a crazy game showed the form the Arsenal FPL classified midfielder is in as a striker. It’s now 5 goals and an assist in his last 2 games and he is looking like he will be an overwhelming captain favourite for this gameweek. Will be interesting to see his gametime goes with games this week on Tuesday, Saturday and Tuesday
Stoke (H)
Everton (A)
Man City (A)
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Bournemouth (A)
COSTA
The Chelsea striker has taken on the title of Mr Consistency this season. He’s returned a goal or assist in 12/14 games so far this season. There are 2 negatives. He has a knock which didn’t look serious but no word from the club whatever that means. Also he’s on 4 yellow cards meaning 1 more before the new year will see a 1 match suspension
West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Stoke (H)
Spurs (A)
DEFOE
The Sunderland striker just keeps on scoring. 8 goals and 2 assists in his first 14 games. Being such a star in an ordinary Sunderland team has meant that any goal has come with a decent bonus allocation. Also has pens. If you’re going to buy now is a good time with Swansea next
Swansea (A)
Chelsea (H)
Watford (H)
Man Utd (A)
Burnley (A)
Liverpool (H)
HAZARD
His goal against Man City was his first in 3 after his sensational run of 5 goals and 2 assists in 4 games. A great run of fixtures beckons. Also one of the few midfielders to have pens.
West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Stoke (H)
Spurs (A)
THE SINKING SHIPS
These are the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek. The fixt ease column shows the easeiness ranking of the next 6/3 fixtures. Go to this link for the full fixture ease article where the teams with the best fixtures are ranked. Values are as of Monday
AGUERO
The Man City striker has been banned for 4 games for his flying karate kick on David Luiz. I suspect £6.6m striker Iheanacho will be the replacement. He has a good record too with 3 goals and 2 assists in the 4 games started
Leicester (A)
Watford (H)
Arsenal (H)
Hull (A)
Liverpool (A)
Burnley (H)
COUTINHO
The Liverpool playmaker is out injured until GW21 with an ankle injury. With Sturridge out injured and no return date, Origi has come in as a replacement albeit as a striker. Firmino has moved as a consequence over to the left as an attacking midfielder
Bournemouth (A)
West Ham (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Everton (A)
Stoke (H)
Man City (H)
LUKAKU
4 games with no return for the Everton striker including 1 home to Swansea is going to result in a landslide of sales. It doesn’t matter that this followed 4 games of consecutive returns. Arsenal and Liverpool in the next 3 makes it even easier to sell. The fact that his recent underlying shooting stats have fallen off a cliff also doesn’t help.
Watford (A)
Arsenal (H)
Liverpool (H)
Leicester (A)
Hull (A)
Southampton (H)
WALCOTT
Only a clean sheet point and an early substitution to show for the plum tie away for Walcott when his team mate Sanchez rolls up 23 points. The underlying stats have also dried up.
Stoke (H)
Everton (A)
Man City (A)
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Bournemouth (A)
STERLING
It’s not a pretty picture for the Man City LWM. No returns in the last 5. After consistently starting he didn’t play in GW12, was subbed before the hour mark in GW13 and then missing with injury in GW14. The underlying stats give some hope but it’s a very faint ray of light that’s for sure
Leicester (A)
Watford (H)
Arsenal (H)
Hull (A)
Liverpool (A)
Burnley (H)
