Fantasy Premier League

Here’s a fantasy premier league GW15 transfers article where we look at potential Aguero replacements.  There’s a table of basic stats on players for a like for like transfer as well as cheaper players if you have 2 transfers or want to take a hit for say Sanchez in midfield.  There’s also some narrative on their prospects and their next 6 fixtures

The table below is self explanatory.  The players aren’t ranked but in order of Points per match.  However there’s more than enough info to make a call on your best transfer.  Fixt Ease is the ranking of the next 6/3 fixtures in terms of easiness.  Here’s a link to the article just done to explain it further.  Prices are as of Sunday.  I’ve made my transfer.  Here’s the article link

COSTA

The Chelsea striker is this years Mr Consistency.  He’s returned a goal or assist in 12/14 games so far this season.  He also has great fixtures.  There are 2 negatives.  He has a knock which although didn’t look serious the club have been strangely quiet over.  Also he’s on 4 yellow cards meaning 1 more before the new year will see a 1 match suspension

West Brom (H)
Sunderland (A)
Crystal Palace (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Stoke (H)
Spurs (A)

KANE

The Spurs striker has also been very consistent this season but the big attraction is Burnley and Hull in the next 3. 7 goals and an assist in 9 games returning in 6 of those says it all.  Also has pens.

Man Utd (A)
Hull (H)
Burnley (H)
Southampton (A)
Watford (A)
Chelsea (H)

DEFOE

The veteran striker in the relegation threatened team just keeps on scoring. 8 goals and 2 assists in his first 14 games.  The advantage of playing for Sunderland has meant that any goal has come with a decent bonus allocation.  Also has pens.  If ever you’re going to buy him it’s now with Swansea next

Swansea (A)
Chelsea (H)
Watford (H)
Man Utd (A)
Burnley (A)
Liverpool (H)

IBRAHIMOVIC

The Man Utd striker seems to have seen the law of averages finally catch up with him after seemingly doing everything but score and then seeing opposition GKs have the games of their lives.  4 goals in his last 3 have shown a turning of the tide for his fantastic underlying shooting stats.  Fixtures after Spurs next are excellent.  Also has pens.

Spurs (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
West Brom (A)
Sunderland (H)
Middlesbrough (H)
West Ham (A)

ANICHEBE

The Sunderland striker is the ultimate money saver.  His gametime security has benefited from not only his contribution but also the distraction he is from Defoe who’s goal output has seen an improvement from an already good place.  Like Defoe if you’re ever going to buy it’s Swansea next

Swansea (A)
Chelsea (H)
Watford (H)
Man Utd (A)
Burnley (A)
Liverpool (H)

BENTEKE

After 3 games and not scoring and shedding owners at a rapid rate he’s come back to prove his quality with 4 goals and an assist in his last 4.  Has pens and a team set up for his aerial strengths.  It’s just whether the boat has been missed because although Hull next is attractive the subsequent 2 after that definitely aren’t

Hull (A)
Man Utd (H)
Chelsea (H)
Watford (A)
Arsenal (A)
Swansea (H)

SLIMANI

The issue with Leicester and any selection is that the so called tinkerman manager is in full swing and seemingly concentrating on the Champions League.  However in the 6 games he’s started he’s scored 4 goals and an assist.  It’s just that gametime and 1 point sub risk

Man City (H)
Bournemouth (A)
Stoke (A)
Everton (H)
West Ham (H)
Middlesbrough (A)

AUSTIN

A very disappointing result in what should have been a prime fixture against Southampton has dented the confidence a bit.  However Austin has good underlying shooting stats to give you confidence going forward and pens.  2 goals in the last 6 though is stretching things.

Middlesbrough (H)
Stoke (A)
Bournemouth (A)
Spurs (H)
West Brom (H)
Everton (A)

IHEANCHO

The Man City striker is the likely replacement for the 4 games that Aguero will be out.  The amount of short sub appearances distort the stats but 3 goals and 2 assists in the 4 games started show that he can contribute when asked to step up.

Leicester (A)
Watford (H)
Arsenal (H)
Hull (A)
Liverpool (A)
Burnley (H)

ORIGI

With Coutinho out, Firmino no longer is a false 9 and a striker will come in.  Thats either Origi or Sturridge.  Sturridge has a calf injury with no return date so for the moment Origi has the position uncontested.  Only started 2 games (the last 2) and scored in both games.  West Ham next is a very attractive buying point

West Ham (H)
Middlesbrough (A)
Everton (A)
Stoke (H)
Man City (H)
Sunderland (A)
