Here’s my view of the fantasy premier league bandwagons and sinking ships for GW25 up coming. If your’e not familiar these are the 5 most transferred in and the 5 most transferred out players so far in the gameweek.
Fantasy Premier League Bandwagons
Adam Johnson
Another goal in the Tyne Wear derby after making it 6 goals and 2 assists in the last 4 games. Looks very dangerous everytime he picks up the ball. The next game is home to Hull which is a good fixture. However it all goes horribly wrong with Man City and Arsenal away after that followed by a blank in GW28. Unless you’re scratching your head with more transfers than you know what to do with and can easily get a full team for GW28 then I would leave the bandwagon alone. You’ve probably missed the boat.

Lallana
Looks the real deal playing centrally behind the striker and can score or assist. Doesn’t have the greatest consistency or underlying stats so requires some patience. However when you seem him play you know he’s a threat. A goal and 2 bonus points away to Fulham making it 3 goals in his last 4 and 4 goals and 3 assists in his last 8. However that run followed 5 without scoring. Home to Stoke is an attractive fixture next but after that its a little mixed. He’s still a buy for me though. As I said plays in the right position and looks dangerous everytime he gets the ball.

Rodriguez
Has been my top cheapie and shown every reason to repay that faith. 2 goals and an assist in his last 3. Secure gametime having started every game since GW8. After failing to score in his first 6 has returned in 9/18 games. For £6.5m a 50% return rate is pretty good for the value. Not much in the way of underlying stats is the only negative. As I said for Lallana home to Stoke is an attractive fixture next but after that its a little mixed. He’s still a buy for me though if you want to beef up your midfield

Dzeko
With Aguero out for a month Dzeko looks a tasty option with Pellgrini still playing 4-4-2. At £7.0m he’s an absolute bargain. The emergence last game of Jovetic does bring another possible striker into the equation increasing the gametime risk. However with Norwich A and Sunderland and Stoke at home you’ve got the potential for a load of goals even with some extra gametime risk. City have a blank though in GW28 to think about. Fantastic shooting stats. 4 goals and 2 assists in the last 5 games, all of which he started. A buy for me.

Sturridge
Been back for 4 games and scored in every one. 5 goals and an assist to be exact. Incredible. Does have good shooting stats and incredibly consistent returner. Has Arsenal next which isn’t a great fixture but next 4 after that are very good. Even allowing for a bit of a quiet game against WBA, a buy even as a double up with Suarez.

Fantasy Premier League Sinking Ships
Aguero
Back 2nd March or gameweek 29 as there’s a blank in GW28. If you haven’t already sold I would do so and buy back when fit. Price will drop although has only been back a couple of games so possibly not much movement anyway. A combination of either or both Negredo and Dzeko will take his place and they nopw have more gametime certainty. However a fit again Jovetic who played well against Spurs is also a factor.

Ramsey
All those holding him in anticipation of a return last gameweek got the bad news that he will be out until gameweek 28 which was obviously too much for most people. Will possibly be eased back anyway making it a longer time off effectively. Whether to sell or not probably depends on your buy price. If you bought him at £5.5m its going to be very hard to sell now and buy back at £7.1m. Looks like the Ox will take his pl;ace while he’s out.

Lukaku
Another injury related selling spree. Although form prior to the injury didn’t do much to make you hold on. No return date yet although feels like a GW28 type return from earlier reports. Mirallas seems to be the replacement up front until new signing Traore is fit. That could be this week though. Sell

Januzaj
Mata seems to have reduced his gametime prospects that’s for sure after missing out totally against Stoke and being a sub against Cardiff. 1 return in his 5 prior to that also can’t have helped resisting the urge to sell. However the Stoke result may prompt a recall as well as another dismal game by Valencia and Young could also give him a chance. Whatever there’s no way I would sell him before a home game to Fulham even with all the gametime risk. A hold for me and then look at selling prior to the Arsenal game

Remy
Banned for 2 more games. Has pretty good overall underlying stats but 1 return in his last 5 games can’t have helped his cause for those fantasy premier league managers faced with another 2 games out. Shouldn’t also underestimate the loss of Cabaye to the team and for Remy’s suplly line. Better alternatives for me. Sell
