An ok week with a score of 56 against an average of 47 thanks to Sanchez as captain.  Defence let me down though so we only saw a movement upwards of 25k to a rather poor 294k

If I had a pound for every permutation of transfers and lineups I’ve run through then I’d be doing this from the sun in the South of France.  However in the end I went for the following transfers

Sanchez out – Mane in

Ibrahimovic out – Lukaku in

Ake out – Coleman in

This involves a 4 point penalty which was mainly for Coleman.  However considering home games against Sunderland and WBA plus it makes up 1 more player for the blank week of GW28 then the hit seemed worth it.  Especially against a background of everyone doing it.

The other main alternative was to keep Ibra and transfer out Crouch for Lukaku using the Sanchez transfer out money.  That made it impossible to get a Liverpool midfielder.  So in the end it seemed worth the sacrifice of Ibra although it all hinges on Man City beating Huddersfield to set up their GW27 double gameweek otherwise I may have acted differently.

The weird thing about the transfers is that I felt like I was a millionaire spending money like confetti.  Normally price would play a big part in the decision and I may have gone Funes Mori and Firmino.  At the moment I don’t have a plan for getting back Ibra and Sanchez so have just used the money for the best players

A couple of dilemmas this week mainly involving the 2 non players Holgate and Stanislas.  I did think about putting Holgate in the lineup on the very off chance he started.  However he does have late sub potential having played 11 minutes in the game against Bournemouth so that ruled that out.

Then it became Stanislas vs Fletcher with again the 1 point substitution being the worry.  However Stanislas doesn’t seem to have that record so I’ve gone for him.

Here’s the team lineup:

So a pretty appalling average but Fletcher who I’ve assumed will start distorts this average.  The median figure doesn’t look so bad

How Chelsea perform against Swansea will affect the rank depending on how Costa and Hazard do

Here’s a schedule looking at the GW26 -28 situation and how many players will lineup.  I’ve assumed that Stanislas and Holgate don’t play and that Man City win their FA Cup replay.  In that case Crouch and Aguero will have DGWs

Lukaku is the obvious choice and poll leader so I’ve stuck with him
