1. The overall average finishing position of the top 10 managers is 2,943
2. The top 10 FPL managers have not been out of the top 10k in the last 3 years (ie 30 times playing)
3. 9 of the 10 have finished in the top 1,000
GAMEWEEK REVIEW
A great week for the top 10 FPL managers. 9 of the 10 had green arrows.
The average score of the managers in GW28 was 54 compared to the average of 15. Thats 39 points and 360% above the average score. The high score of the 10 was 70. The low score was 36. A big spread of 34 for the gameweek.
The average overall rank of the top 10 FPL managers saw a big improvement of rank to 132k compared to the last gameweek of 179k. An average rank improvement of rank of 47k. The best rank is less than 100 and the lowest 450k. A couple of scores are distorting the average. If you calculated the median rank then that also improved significantly to 95k compared to 138k last gameweek. An improvement of rank of 43k. At the moment 5 have overall ranks inside 100k. 2 are inside the top 10k.
The average value sees a slight improvement to £105.4 from £105.2m in the last gameweek

My total score is 1494 points.

FOCUS ON 1 MANAGERS TEAM
Again we focus on the managers team who last season finished the highest of my then top 10 FPL managers ending up in 1,400th position. This manager is the closest thing to a fantasy football celebrity there is due to his consistent results so we’ll keep an eye on him.
A good week. At present he has a 10k overall rank, an improvement in rank of 3k from the last gameweek of 13k. His total points are 1,593 after an ok score of 49 this gameweek. Just to give you a bit of context his last 3 years overall rankings have been 1,450, 277 and 90.

If you cross reference this with the top 10k managers with players over 50% then by that only Lukaku and Mane are essential.
