Well the Benteke/Aguero saga has now come to an end with me reversing the transfer I made. All rather unsavoury and ridiculous. If I had only thought through the first weeks better and the captain options then I wouldn’t have got myself into this situation. I was going to leave Aguero 1 more week and ride out the Everton match but after today with City and Aguero ripping apart the best defence in the league that seemed an unecessary risk. I’ve therefore made the transfer with Benteke out and Aguero in with him seemingly going up in price tonight. Use www.fplstatistics.co.uk if you want other predictions.
I dud think about taking Rooney out but with him home to Newcastle it seemed worth one more week with Newcastle being so dire defensively so far despite Rooneys rather appaling form
I did think seriously about a wildcard with Walcott looking a problem as well however I’cve decided to stick with it for the moment.
