fantasy premier league GW30 team tips – FFGeek contributors show their teams part 2

Here’s our fantasy premier league GW30 team tips article and it’s part 2 of the FFGeek contributors showing us their teams before the transfer deadline. All of the contributors finished in the top 1% of teams last season. You can also see the current state of the FFGeek contributors league.

Here’s part 2 of the 10 or so FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont cover early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.

Happy with GW29 as it was a low scoring week but still managed a reasonable green arrow. That makes a total of 10,000+ in green arrow since I broke my 8 week red arrow streak by playing my wildcard.

I am making only one move this week—Sterling To David Silva. Silva was rested in the Champions League this week and will certainly play against Stoke, whose defense has looked shaky and lucky the last two weeks. I decided against both Wolcott and Sigurdsson as I cannot generate much enthusiasm for their form lately even if they do have a GW31 fixture. I hope to have 7 players in GW31 but in general I am not going to play a chip to get a full team, not when I have BB and FH to use in 34 and 37. I am playing a contrarian strategy definitely since I played my WC early. But given my “template” roster from Christmas onward resulted in 10 red arrows out of 11, I have to take a different course.

I am hoping that Baines does not replace Martina at left back for Everton, but if he does I will move him next week for Zanka or Ake. In general I hope I am not hurt too badly by GW31 but the more I look the less I think it is worth investing in if you have Liverpool and Shaquiri covered.

Keith finished with an incredible rank of 325 last season and 9k the season before that

No transfers but couldn’t pull the trigger on captaining Hazard. I am hoping for a monster game. Good luck!
