fantasy premier league GW33 – forwards “ones to watch”

Fantasy Premier League, Player Rankings

Here’s my fantasy premier league GW33 “ones to watch” article for forwards for GW33.  Again I’ve done it in the new format.  As I said in the previous articles, I’ve now based it around a table of key stats to make it easier to follow.  I’ve put a key at the bottom of the table to show what each column represents although they are in the main the previous stats.  Below the table I’ve shown the  fantasy premier league gameweeks to the end of the season for each player and given a line or 2 on each specifically commenting on gametime issues.

KEY

1.  Rank.  My order of the players with the best at the top based on the stats

2.  Time per fantasy premier league point scored this year.  This is how many minutes it takes for a Barclays fantasy premier league point to be scored over the course of the season.  The lower the better obviously.

3.  Consistency:  The % of times that the player got a goal or assist   as a % of games played

4.  Last 5 points:  The total points scored in the last 5 games

5.  Last 5 returns:  The number of times that a player has got a goal or an assist in the last 5 games played

6.  Fixture ease ranking:  The link is at the bottom of the article but essentially I’ve ranked all the teams by the ease of the first 6 fixtures.  The team with the best ranking ie 1 will have the easiest next fixtures of any of the fantasy premier league teams over the next 6 games.

7.  I’ve also added how many of the top 10 fantasy premier league managers I’ve followed.

1.  Suarez

Another excellent performance and a 9 point haul against Spurs.  A must have at the moment.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
West Ham (A)
Man City (H)
Norwich (A)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)

2.  Rooney

The first sign against Villa that he has got past the home form problem.  A penalty and a headed tap in showed the advantage of RVP being injured from Rooneys perspective.  Benefitted from Mata behind and Kagawa in the team to provide creativity

Norwich (H)
Sunderland (H)  DGW37
Hull City (H)  DGW37
Southampton (A)

3.  Sturridge

Just dropped off a little in recent weeks in comparison to previous scoring and his strike partner.  This season though any dropping off has seen a strong comeback.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
West Ham (A)
Man City (H)
Norwich (A)
Chelsea (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Newcastle (H)

4.  Dzeko

Been in good form and another return with an assist against Arsenal.  Seems to have got ahead of Negredo in the pecking order. Also helped by some words from Aguero this week suggesting he wont rush himself back.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Southampton (H)
Liverpool (A)  DGW34
Sunderland (H)  DGW34
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Everton (A)  DGW37
Aston Villa (H)  DGW37
West Ham (H)

5.  Lukaku

Just after he had restored faith he then gets another blank against a poor team.  Only an assist in 2 games against Fulhma a blank against Cardiff and only an assist at home to Norwich show that inability to score big at times against the poorer teams.  However the only real attacking option for Evertons DGW34 and although lets you down does relatively consistently see the points tick over.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Arsenal (H)
Sunderland (A)  DGW34
Crystal Palace (H)  DGW34
Man Utd (H)
Southampton (A)

6.  Rodriguez

The cheapie forward sensastion this season.  In great form and returned in 4 of his last 5 games.  Only Suarez and Rooney have more points in the last 5 games.  Motivationn secure with a world cup spot to play for and has been a secure pick for some time by the Saints manager

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Man City (A)
Cardiff City (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Everton (H)
Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)

7.  Lambert

With Rodriguez a big haul against the hapless Newcastle team.  Has pens and free kicks.  Is prone to be left out every now and then and it will be interesting to see if he starts away to City.  Has started 8 of the last 9 games though.

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Man City (A)
Cardiff City (H)
Aston Villa (A)
Everton (H)
Swansea (A)
Man Utd (H)

8.  Bony

In great form since had a run in the team.  An excellent finisher who also has pens in the locker

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Hull City (A)
Chelsea (H)
Newcastle (A)
Aston Villa (H)
Southampton (H)
Sunderland (A)

9.  Odemwingie

Been in a great little run of form and someone cheap if you want to invest more in your midfield

Fantasy premier league fixtures to the end of the season:
Chelsea (A)
Newcastle (H)
Cardiff City (A)
Tottenham (H)
Fulham (H)
West Brom (A)

10.  Benteke

Mixed fortunes recently but still getting the chances and will eventually score big.  Also has pens.  Fulham at home next is a good time to gamble

11.  Crouch

Blanked at home to Hull but has been in a reasonable vein of form as the Stoke target man.  Cardiff and Fulham before the end of the season are attractive fixtures

Chelsea (A)
Newcastle (H)
Cardiff City (A)

West Brom (A)

12.  Giroud

Not in great form and only 1 return in the last 5 games.  However after Everton the games get easier and he maybe a viable option again
