FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW33 TEAM TIPS – FFGEEK CONTRIBUTORS SHOW THEIR TEAMS PART 2

Here’s part 2 of the 10 or so FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It also wont cover early transfers. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.

Here’s the link to the part 1 contributors article if you haven’t seen it

SCOTT HARGADON (AKA CESSPOOL)

Last season he finished in 21k overall rank.

GW32 Points 69 (Avg 48) Total Points 1,918 OR 22k TV 104.8m green arrow 5k

Scott has used his 2nd wildcard.  All other chips intact

A solid green arrow last week despite a 4 point hit. This week I continue making transfers in anticipation of DG37 with an eye on positive fixtures in the GW and GW 36. I decided that since Kane will not be in my team until GW36 (except for GW34 when I am using the FH chip), and with Spurs playing Stoke, I brought in Dele Alli for Shaqiri at no cost.

I would have preferred Son at .6 less, but I have concerns that Son may be rotated in favour of Lamela while Pochettino said he just puts Dele out there no matter what. Given that Dele is on a campaign to make the England squad for Russia this summer, he seems to have picked up his play of late—and I can remember two seasons ago when he was absolutely devastating late in the season.

I am playing D. Silva and DeBruyne at home against United—I am betting that City will rebound from its midweek defeat to claim the title at their arch rival’s expense. I am not starting Smalling for the same reason—although Robertson could be rested and Smalling might have to go in. I am retaining Salah because I quite frankly can’t afford to drop him and buy him back—although if they go through in Champions League his minutes in the PL will be managed. Will have to play that one by ear. If he is indeed OK, I would still start him over any of my bench players even if he only gets 20 minutes.

Captain this week is Aubameyang . Southampton look a shambles and I cannot believe Mark Hughes will change their fortunes. I hope Monreal will get a clean sheet in this fixture as well because I do not have a great defensive rotation this week.

Alex finished in 10k in 16/17 28k in 15/16 and 3k in 14/15

I took the long and winding road via Wildcard procrastination to eventually do 2 transfers.  Benteke and Stanislas to Wood and Sterling for a -4. Good luck

Geek note:  You may have heard on twitter once or twice (at least!) that Alex has played in the same team as Wood in NZ !
