FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GW34 TEAM SELECTION – THE FFGEEK TEAMS
Just to repeat for anyone new on the site, that I’m continuing with my 2 team theme as a result of my accidental free hit chip being used in GW23.
Team 1 is the team with the free hit chip lost.
Team 2 has the free hit team intact and was cloned from one of my alternate FFGeek teams to be my original team through a -28 point hit.
Team 2 is to help people who were following my original team as a reference point so they can continue doing so.
Team 1 will help those people who used their free hit chip earlier in the season.
Both teams require totally different strategies to navigate through the potential blank and double gameweeks up coming
GW33 PERFORMANCE – FREE HIT LOST TEAM
GW33 points: 30 on WC (average 32) Total points 1,936 Gameweek rank 3,259k Overall Rank: 36k red arrow 5k Team Value: £102.1m
Here’s the team points. A 5k red arrow to 31k
So a pretty disastrous week although covering a lot of active managers high ownership players plus some luck with others kept the rank damage to a minimum

Transfer options
I’d already decided my transfer in advance and that was Lukaku for Aubameyang. I never really wavered in the week and he was always going to be my transfer. Lukaku is too big a captain favourite to not even have in my team
So the transfer is. Aubameyang out Lukaku in
Captain decision (actually a triple captain)
For the moment I’ve captained Lukaku and even triple captained him. You can see my captain article if you want the detail. In the end I didn’t think I had enough DGW players to use the bench boost here even though I would have preferred to triple captain Harry Kane in GW37
Team lineup selection
No real debate here with the double gameweekers automatic starters. I have got one extra DGW player which I won’t bore you with over again and that was the only point of debate. That talking point was Chilwell vs Tarkowski but I thought Chilwell had the better fixtures and I already have Lowton in the lineup anyway.
I have 7 GW35 players plus 1 transfer will give me 8. Not great but it is what it is. I will bench boost in GW37 hopefully with a minimum of 13 DGW players plus Salah

This team is as if I didn’t make an accidental free hit ie the same as my original team and was cloned from one of my alternate FFGeek teams to be my original team through a -28 point hit. I will keep it to show how I would have navigated through the blanks with all the chips intact. I think that will be helpful for those who were using my original team as a reference point

So this week I did the same transfer as above with Lukaku coming in for Aubameyang. The transfer was all pre planned and I never got derailed this week.
I have 14 DGW players plus Salah so I’m bench boosting this week. The idea is to free hit in GW35 and then triple captain Kane in GW37.
With the bench boost the lineup obviously is pretty irrelevant so no worries there either
