Introduction

This is part 4 of the FPL managers who contribute to the FFGeek site with good histories who show their teams each week. This will give people a feel for what other managers are doing. It’s a fairly informal thing with no obligation on anyone and these teams may change at anytime before the deadline without further notice. It won’t cover transfers in real time either. It’s just to give an idea of the trends for the week no more.  The teams are shown as their “final-ish” teams so they could change.  Where they have twitter accounts I have shown this and they may update them there or on our Slack Channel which is part of our subscription Patreon site but this is not guaranteed

GW35 Review

118 points which was essentially a grey arrow (16.6k > 16.4k).

It was a fairly topsy-turvy week with some good – captain Bruno,Martinez 12 points, Salah returns, Trent returns, DCL returns and Vardy at least outscoring Kane. There was a bit of bad though. ESR 19 points on my bench while opting to play Lingard for his 1 pointer, Rudiger and Fofana averaging a point a game across their 2 games. Last week I toyed with the idea of loading up more on Man U, with either Son to Greenwood or Rudiger to Maguire/Shaw but opted against as it would leave me in trouble this week. Greenwood went mental but the defence were unable to punish Rudigers 2 points somehow. Son at lease limited the damage with a goal.

GW36 Preview

I have 2 FT to deal with the blanks now but only 8 players. I am going to take a -4 to get eleven out. Vardy is certain to go. I am very tempted by Aguero. Its a good fixture to come in at. Kane is the safer pick though. Then Iheanacho to Antonio and Bruno Fernandes to Jota.

I have to use Bruno to get the cash for other moves. By getting Jota over a City midfielder like Mahrez I can swap Son for Bruno next week should I choose to. Jota was on the scoresheet vs Man U and to be honsest in the last few weeks could have had a boatload of points. Good fixtures and on the hunt for a top 4 position. Captain Salah, and no bench dilemmas to make. Lets just hope everyone plays, and given the fixtures, optimistic of a reasonable week where many could be struggling to field xi.

Good luck all

transfer summary: Vardy, Iheanacho and Fernandes out. Kane, Antonio and Jota in

Free hit did not go as planned although I got a 17k green arrow with all the risks I took it should have went even better. Damn you Rashford just finish it! It would have been another 16pts for my team!

Literally nothing to loose from now on, on 142k OR and I’ll just have fun!

So -8 this week! Vardy, Davis and Castagne out for Calvert- Lewin, Richarlison and Dallas. I am targetting Sheffield united and really hope the double up works out well!

captain currently on Kane!

Transfer summary: Vardy, Davis and Castagne out Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Dallas

Pretty made up with that bench boost minus the Van Aanholt no show! Finally broke into the top 1 million for the first time all season (woo for me!) but now I have blank players to fix.

I currently only have 9 playing players so will be taking a -4 to field 11. I’m tempted by the -8 because of Van Aanholt but the fact that Mitchell has played twice this week part of me thinks Hodgson might rotate. If he doesn’t and I field 10 players, I think the extra -4 to bring in someone who plays will be harder to repay. I haven’t ruled it out just yet though.

There are a few players I have my eye on: Calvert-Lewin, Salah, Son, Bale, Dallas, Trent. I have 1.2mil in the bank but am willing to sell Bruno to fund any transfer I make. I’m scared of Klopp rotating his front 4 as we seen with Mane being rested against Man Utd does that mean it’s Salah’s turn next or Jota? Calvert-Lewin has a great fixture, Son is showing some form, Bale’s home form since Ryan Mason has been starting him has been amazing, Dallas is playing out of position but clean sheets seem hard to come by, and Trent is trying his best to get in the England squad . It’s going to be a tough call and I can’t afford most of the transfers I want so I may be forced into a -8 which should be replayed over the last few game weeks. As you can tell my mind is torn once again!

Captain will be Kane no matter what I do

Transfer summary: To be confirmed
